    Play style?

    So apparently they call this game an "Open World Social MMO."
    They say "...in-your-face damage-dealer to healer to long-range sniper..."

    When this social mmo requires all of its players to play SOLO missions, there is no "damage-dealer" or medic or tank.
    You have to be overall strong in order to beat these missions and only when you beat the all main missions or be near max level can you start somewhat on changing your playstyle for group play.

    It's ridiculous how you have to do solo missions in an MMO that wants to encourage groups. It's happened to me in both beta and release where I have gotten my friends together to do missions and either me or one of them has to do a solo mission next and we have to separate.

    Please, having the option to beat the whole game solo is good. Not having the option to beat the whole game as a group in an MMO is just annoying.

    I couldn't agree more. This is one thing that no matter if you hate or love Defiance, all can agree on this. This is just a stupid decision.

    But the story is so quick and easy. Those times when you're forced to do it solo are so easy to complete! There's no need for a group! The only time it gets even a little difficult is on the final mission with Nim, and honestly if I had a group for that one it wouldn't have been as exciting. The mechanics of that fight are meant for solo play. Grouping for these solo instances would completely ruin them and make them too easy and boring.

    Me and my friends always beat the side missions before moving on, so it isn't very quick.

    But what i'm trying to say is these forced solo missions make you build towards an "all around strong" type rather than being able to be a full on medic/sniper/infilitrator/tank. Sure once you beat them you can build a class that focuses on something but that's just not right to have only after you beaten the game!
    I've been waiting for the return of the Nomad or addition of a new 4x4 truck... but selling an already developed vehicle in a 60 dollar game... Why Trion. Why.

    Easy fix. Scale the difficulty like in Co-op and everywhere else. Don't tell me you never noticed the mobs took longer to kill with more people around. In fact it would probably already scale by default so all that needs to be done is allow the missions to be done with groups.

    Also this isn't even about difficulty, its about fun. If I wanna play solo, I'll just grab a single player game. In an MMO, its expected to group up for max efficiency.
