    I think the social aspect of the game ...

    ... will be much improved if

    1. party members always stays in same phase/instance/shard as the leader

    2. party members automatically take whatever side mission the leader takes (if they have not completed it)

    3. party members share kills even if they did not "tag" the enemy

    4. round down ego requirements on items to the nearest thousand (ie 1000 to 1999 can be worn by ego 1000 players and so on) so that high EGO players can actually trade their finds or give hand-me-downs to clanmates. When they say it is lonely at the top, it is NOT meant to be applied and enforced literally.

    good suggestions, hope they are acted upon +1. even rounding down to nearest 500 would be an improvement

    Thread needs more eyeballs.

    And game needs to facilitate partying and social aspects better.

    It is an MMO, not a single player shooter of which there are farrrrrrrrr better alternatives. (Fallout 3, Fallout NV etc)

    The biggest improvement this game would see is if Trion made the full chat screen resizeable & allow you to have it open while you were playing the game.

    I find the minimized chat useless because I can't glance over once in a while and see who in the area might be talking & when you do talk, most people don't see it because what is said either scrolls away or disappears before someone else takes a moment to read it.

    I'll give this a little Bear-Bump.

    1. Hell yes, couldn't agree more. Maybe not the "instance" but def the phase.
    2. Not a bad idea, instead of automatically maybe give them the option?

    Good ideas OP, not exactly foreign ideas or new but some that would really help the "social" aspect of DeFiance. Along with the other fixes to the Chat system that they need to do.. ;]

    Sharing side missions would be great.

    Way points that can be set by anyone in the group and seen by all.

    Can I fit four in my challenger please?

    Fix the mini map perspective so I have a better representation of where my team mates are.

    Have areas in the world that are balanced for a group of four or more.

    Let's not forget the social aspect could be improved by also providing a legitimate social challenge. I want to yell at a friend that I'm pinned and he needs to get the sniper.

    Not the laughable co-op missions as we see them today.

    Agreed, adding a "Heroic" or "Hardcore" mode with stronger or more enemies would really make those Co-op missions shine!
