Ark hunters remind me of cheap slave labor. You're there for powerful people's purpose, you never get paid enough to better your position, and don't even own shelter.

It's almost like you're a hobo riding the rails(vehicles) trying to find your next meal(weapon so you have something to use after it's obsolete).

Trion, I demand a hobo hat and worn out shoes as a DLC outfit!

We're new to the whole region. The people introduced in the story line are locals. I'd take their word about the local situation... Well, except Varrus, the sleazebag. :P

Not to mention aren't I supposed to be Von bachs bodyguard? Yet when Von Bach gets a choke hold from one of the characters and I am just standing there in a daze. The hell? This dude even gets punched, and I am standing there watching like I am scared to the point I can't move.
By the time that came around, I was more than happy to watch Von Bach get the crap beat out of him, bodyguard or not. He's a whiny little **** who probably stole the company he runs and doesn't even know how to turn his coffee machine on let alone how ark tech works.

I actually thought the same thing about Nolan in the show. I only watched the pilot and the first episode but it really seemed like he caved whenever it looked like he might have to fight. I was especially shocked when he just gave up his cash after beating the Bioman in the big fight scene. And now that you bring up almost the exact same thing going on in the game with my character I'm starting to notice this. Apparently Arkhunters aren't type A personalities.

Personally I thought Von Bach was an a**. Wish someone would have just shot him in the head and saved us all the trouble.

The alternative was to turn those situations into bloodbaths, resulting in mass hurt feelings with every local in the area and probably being thrown out of town at best (in jail at worst). Nolan's got a daughter (adopted) to look out for. He has to look at long-term first.

    You take that back!

Von Bach is hilarious. He's the only character with actual character to them other than Cass but she hooks up with some dude later in the game to never been seen again.

I guess I expect my Han Solo ripoffs to be more Han Solo-ish.

I really dont agree on the wuss part, we are ark hunters and pick up jobs along our path, so yeah.. kinna makes sense you listen and do what your employer is asking.
Even Charley sheen can vouch for what happens when you missbehave and tell your boss to go F himself. Though.. Charley just moved on to a new job while we where punished with Aston Kucher.
    No sleep, no dreams.
    No pain, no joy.
In this state of unbeing I ask myself..
    Was I ever innocent?

Van Bach is the most brilliantly written, downright hilarious character in this entire game. Yes, he's an *** and yes, he's incredibly egocentric (no pun intended), but thats what makes him awesome.

"Helping you is right up there on my To-Do list with ****ing a Sensoth, but I'll do it as a favor to Ms Shondu."
"So helping me was second on his list then..."
OMG I laughed so hard. xD Best written character in the game so far by far.

    Y'all whine too much.

Umm, have you ever played an MMO? That's been my complaint about every MMO from the start. They make you sound like some grand hero, but then you spend your entire time being someone's errand boy.
