    Good bye all

I have come to realize the best way to enjoy this game like the thousands of others I see playing is to no longer log into the forum, before the NGE on SWG most of us had never visited the forums, never heard the vitriolic hate and anger towards devs and state of game we were all in game enjoying ourselves, those few hundreds who massed on the forums shouted loudest and whined the longest, got changes they really did not want then blamed the devs for it all (all the whinning and *****ing got the attention of lucas and he poked his nose in saying "why can't it be more like wow people must want it because they seem to hate the current system).

It is the same on every mmo, most of the people I meet in game never visit the forum and yes chat does work I have used it, added people to my friends list and used tells and reply to talk to them! its amazing, primitive but works, those people actually love this game and are in game having a blast, yes the hardcore gamers have folded (shows how hardcore they are) people have quit but I still see every ark fall packed, most I ever wait is 5 seconds for a coop map and even the start up area still has people.

So all you whiners and complainers go ahead try to ruin another game instead of realizing this game may not be for you, sadly you will probably get your way and have things changed because the ones that shout loudest and most often they must be right.

While I will play this game with friends and people I don't even know for the fun and joy of the game, not trying to bend it to my ideas but accepting and having fun, until you lot get levelled weapons and areas, clan only content, "hardcore" modes and all the other crap this game does not need.

    Bye

Please enjoy the game as much as you like. I strongly recommend it as long as it lasts. There's a chance you'll be back once you hit the korean grind with a better understanding of exactly what people are complaining about, and how this is not SWG.

Damn fast replies, I have played this game for 340 hours since launch about 10 hours a day, my main char on the usa server is Ego 1390 or something like that, I have a euro server char as well, I have kicked nim's backside three times now, done every side quest , and you know what I am still enjoying myself, love doing arkfalls, love helping out people and just riding around or sneaky snipey fun.

My connection is good even when playing on the usa servers from uk, I rarely crash and for me this has been one of the best launches of an mmo, yes its not SWG but the mentality of the few is the same, maybe it is because I play the game to have fun not to beat it.

I still have 75% of my pursuits to complete mainly because I don't count numbers and only do things I want to do for fun and let the achievements take care of themselves why anyone rushes to complete content in an mmo is beyond me, to me it has always been about the journey not the end game.

I will reply to this my last thread on the forum but then I will be gone woot!

If you're at 1390 ego, then you still need a bit of time in the oven to understand. There is a point where you literally run out of any pursuit that doesn't require 5k+ kills or hours of doing the same damn thing you were doing at 100 ego. Things are fun the first few thousand times you do them.

Then you have thousands of ego to go from the same stuff you were doing all this time. It takes time to wear off, but it does wear out its welcome.

I don't want wow-based progression. I want Defiance-based progression. But after you've killed your ten thousanth Dark Matter, you'll realize the need for tiers of enemies above Dark Matter.

That doesn't mean raids are needed, that doesn't mean HARDKORE ELITEST stuff is necessary. It does mean the game's difficulty is a joke, after you settle in and understand what the game has to offer-- which is comparatively little.

Sad but most gaming forums decend into the constant whining we see on this forum.

Thankfully it's only ever a vocal minority.

I just put folks like Schwaaaa on my ignore list. Simples.

good decision, even though most of the complaints are valid, they do set a very negative, often hostile admosphere, all sides of the wall contribute to this.. unfortunately.

Im loving the game and series, but Im not blind, feel free to check my posting record to check on this.. I dont Always agree with complaints and/or complainers but most of the time I do see where they are coming from and I consider most of them to be valid.

But you are right, if the forums make a negative impact on your over all enjoyment of the game, yes, its a good idea to step away from it and stick with the things that bring you joy,.
    No sleep, no dreams.
    No pain, no joy.
In this state of unbeing I ask myself..
    Was I ever innocent?
