That's because the game is just programmed very poorly. Throwing more and better hardware at it doesn't change the fact.

If people aren't buying this on consoles now, what makes you think they will dish out money to play it on next gen consoles in the future.

Next gen console game with less then average graphics & no glass transparency, poor launch & little content should be a huge hit! /sarcasm

NOPE, u obviously don't know anything about making video games. the game would probably have been worse, new hardware requires time to learn new coding. 6-7 MONTHS when trying to learn new infrastructure would be a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of time needed to polish a game for a next gen console.

depends how backwards compatible the systems are. While they likely won't be able to play games directly from the original source media, they may still be able to handle the original instruction set - this would allow them to keep the same download only titles without forcing an upgrade. Even if the instruction sets are different, there might be porting tools to enable something to be ported relatively easily, especially in the case of Microsoft consoles. The underlying architecture may not have changed too drastically... All depends how low level the code is, and what engine is being used.
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.

Early next Gen they'd be going up against Destiny and Respawn entertainments new title Titan at the same time. Defiance would get stomped, it would be ugly. If nothing else, they pretty much nailed the release date ( even if they had to rush the game to do it). Any earlier and it would have been overlooked as well.

Meh, I'd have bought all 3 if they were on console.
