Defiance is kicking but and here to stay haters

It if funny how much you all dislike Defiance yet here you are on there site .I guess you guys can't get enough .Personally when I'm done with a game that's it I do not play talk or care about it.It boggles me why you still care if you don't like or play the gameget over it and get off the forum and go back to WOW

To be fair, you dont need a million sales to have a million accounts. People can share accounts or share consoles - so a console might have 2 or 3 accounts at a time. Granted a million sales is still better.

No thanks. I actually care about the game funnily enough. Its ironic that your post is actually detrimental to the very game you are defending.

Have you ever thought that maybe this is just another way to get the devs attention? the more people *****ing.. the bigger the red light? Besides we have money invested in this game already.. im not going to.. "go away"

Marketing burned your brain, dude. They're good at marketing, not making game. If they really sold 1kk boxes, it only means 99,5% already left the game. It hurts butt, no ? What will come in season 2, with those poor season 1 score / reviews ?

And for the guy who says why we're still here, I would say, assuming I speak for many of ghosters : hope. The background is fantastic, the game content is shtako and the game "following" is (currently) just a disaster. I also don't get enough for 50€.

Actually, no, it doesn't say that at all.

What it says is "one million registered user accounts".

Be assured that if they had sold one million boxes, they would have said one million in sales. Even that wouldn't have been particularly impressive, to be honest (GW2 announced 2 million sales by week 2, for instance), but clearly they haven't even reached that mark or they wouldn't be using such a nebulous and, frankly, meaningless term as 'registered user accounts'.

Your comparing it to GW2? a Follow one from GW1... Thats the worst comparison iv ever seen. GW was tried and tested, had its player base, removed all the kinks (which there was tons early on). Defiance is new and untested, and on consoles. People are cynical and critical of everything. It's hard for any new game to make it big. Defiance is doing well, and even when a time comes that they are not, the series is there to pick it back up.

And i hope all those million dont log in at once, its hard enough getting kills at arkfalls as it is xD

split it inbetween PS3, XBOX (split in half or more due to region lock) and PC.
Take real number of players (not registered accounts that dont mean they bought the game).

Then people who actually play (at least a hour each day).

Then u get numbers of 1000 or so.

then large number of those 1000 are afk, solo hacking or just pvp/coop.

If there reall ywere a million across all 3 - it wouldnt take nearly as long for coop, pvp instances to find players.

My guess is, in reality he doesn't care about the game, but sees all the negative comments and examples, and decided to troll by butt kissing Defiance as much as possibly imaginable. Just ignore his threads in the future.
