Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.
Bought clan loot boost... Instead I never got it and then a week later i get 167 hour of self loot boost lol... Thank you Trion i guess
yes i stated the duration of the downtime to gm . they said they were aware it was an emergency maintanence on the na server . That it was out of their hands. I am sorry i didnt check tweeter prior to buy boost , but who does , i figured the game would work , no clue it was going to be down that long . Even if that was the case wouldnt it be morally right to stop the clock when the customer is unable to use the service due to the company not providing access. Any cases it is trion stance not to make credit due to the server issue i gathered . Lesson learned . Dont get me wrong love the game with it millions of bugs and issues, just never in a million years would have thought of Trion as a company to steal from their loyal customer , just a like shocked
THe logical compromise is to sell boosts in increments that better reflect gameplay, I agree that having it set to only run when online would not be beneficial to the company.
Instead I'd sell the boosts in increments of 2-4-6-8-10 hrs increments with equivalent pricing.
SO a 24hr boost that currently costs 240pts, so instead it would be more like this.
10hr - 120pts
8hr - 100pts
6hr - 75pts
4hr - 40pts
2hr - 25pts
or something like that...they should net about the same amount, though I'd predict more since people are more likely to spend 25pts for 2hrs and if they purchase 12 of them would be 300pts, rather than 240. PRice point and perceived value are very important and currently both are unnatractive...and the perceived value is actually negative in many cases because players feel ripped off.
the truly sad thing is it doesnt cost them a penny for boost , weird how they wont even consider the view of a gamer . I get that they want money money money , but their is a line you take when you steal and stop caring about your customer , sadly with defiance trion crossed that line . I hope thee new releases that are coming out like end of nations is going to be like this . OMG could a company stay in bussiness with two major let downs in a row
send a second ticket, see if someone else will consider your request.

seems like it would be so easy to just stop all boosts from tolling whenever the server is offline.

i sent a email a week ago no reply , opened two tickets and finally live chat was working today . One email back stated that they have vast amount of ticket due to the issue , and willl get back to me in the future about it . I replied asking how to turn bits back into microsoft points , they didnt reply yet
agree if the sever is down x hours , credit x hours to plays whom purchased boost during that time frame. Not rock science but i get they would lose money doing that . i get one hour but when it is down more then three they should consider doing something for their customer
