    OOFT! Dark matter are tough!

    As the title indicates and I know most of you know this, but DAMN!!!!!! dark matter got power. Don't get me wrong, half the time I am running right into the middle of their areas as if to say HIYA!!! but holy jesus, once they spot me (its not like im blending into the ground or anything) they destroy me in less than 5 seconds. I'm not saying they should be nerfed or anything, i enjoy a good challenge, just wanted to rant a little. all other enemies are a walk in the park compared to the dark matter. Id rather san fran was covered in hulkers than dark matter if im totally honest.

    Have you made it to the end of the story yet and fought Nim? Talk about hard as hell. That guy uses all of the ego powers at once! I must have lost close to 3k scrip in extraction fees trying to beat that mission.

    I have not yet got there, but i feel I am close, I have done 4 main missions in sanfran so far, cant be too many more to go. I have heard he is difficult, but hey, like I said, I like a challenge, not bothered about losing scrip either, I have plenty and its easy to make back. the thing bugging me is the shotgun reload glitch. too many times I have seen my shotgun getting reloaded and it starts unloading half waythrough or just empties completely, but hey ho, its a challenge

    It seems like they are a big jump because of the shielding, but the big thing to remember is not to face them in large groups. Hide and pick them off. That's the key. I use Dark Matter Disguise to level up my weapons. They can take more punishment with the shields to they level the guns up faster.

    Yeah Dark Matter can be evil sods to take on (but dayum, they look good doing it), Bulwarks especially. My advice is to hug cover as much as possible, just poke out a little bit to the right to shoot them.
    When Monitors bring up the shield, either flank or rush em;
    Snipers are probably a priority to take out cause of the damn knockback, but when you see the laser you can roll out the way if your quick;
    Bulwarks I recommend saving till last if you can avoid them, then all you got to do is run rings around them while shooting, but mind their stomp attack;
    And enforcers you've just gotta shoot till their dead, just mind out cause some of them have the electric nano effect which can screw you over.

    All of this is very solid strategy for dealing with DM. I'll add that two methods I've used along with these excellent ones are to snipe from a distance. Sniping is always useful but i think its even more so against DM. And also try using a rapid firing gun with an electric nano effect. My sniping build had an electro-SMG as my secondary weapon and when I got rushed I'd use it. I don't know if it was the nano-effect or just me thinking it was but that SMG tore through their shield bar FAST and they went down really quick. For Bulwarks try aiming for the missile packs (that's their weak spot) and when they collapse unload as many rounds as you can and try to get behind them. I find that an LMG works best on Bulwarks.

    I haven't made it across to San Fran just yet. Really taking my time on the main mission. But yesterday, heading north from Bug 'n' Chug to an arkfall and I run into a Dark Matter road block. Dunno what they were doing there??

    Anyway, out of curiosity I went for a closer lo.... red everywhere - dead..

    Bulwarks are easy really. Just shoot the **** out of their rocket pods on either side, and once they crouch and stop shooting punish them with all you got.
    I personally like to snipe the rest and leave the Monitor for last. Run around behind his shield and take him down.

    I find infectors really good at dealing with Dark Matter. Really good at taking down their shields and the bugs help weaken/kill others that are around.
