    Feel a little decieved?

Im still one of the people enjoying the hell out of Defiance. EGO 1400 and still playin a little everyday (for the most part) Ya they dropped the ball on a few things (more content, better world, raids, etc...) and I agree the game is not perfect, and I can FULLY see why people are bored with it, I just happen to be one of the people still havin a good time

So understand this is not a trollin at all, but WTF is up with the content??....was anyone else under the impression we would be getting a LITTLE more with the new episodes? besides some lanterns to light and some pursuits? Like even is its 2-3 missions, I was expecting a bit more...

They better add somthing with some substance....with all the people leaving we need somthing to keep us commin back...

So was I decieved? or did I just get the wrong impression, and this is expected by everyone else?

No sir, your pretty much on par. I was curious about that too. Ego 1877 here, got my legendary arkfall hunter finally (after something kept resetting kill counts)

Hey dude I feel the same way. I love the game, beat all the story, still playing. But yea I expected A LOT more than what we have got. You can go play MMOs like Rappelz for free that have way more continuously updating content than Defiance. So I feel the same way as you about being a bit deceived.

Yeah, I do. But maybe that's my fault for hyping it up more than I should have. Kind of like I did with San Francisco. (was very disappointed with area layout)

I really do enjoy this game and I'm willing to look passed all the flaws. But my friend's list is already hemorrhaging. From the first week of this game until now, I'm seeing fewer and fewer playing it. I really hope they add some sort of substantial content, because I don't want to be the only dude playing this in a few months time.

    Yup...1000% agree with that.

Somthing besides a grey, lifeless world would have been awesome...talk about boring. Maybe a swamp area or a decimated forest? an ACTUAL city (buildings to enter. broken skyscarppers to hop across, maybe some rooftop car jumping) like fine if you want to keep it all dreary and blah, but put SOMTHING in the blahness!

    1. Creating new content requires resources (i.e. manpower)
    2. Given the huge gaping issues the game had on release, most of the resources will be busy either on damage control, or trying to fix the many leaking holes in the game
    3. What resources that can be spared are tasked with retexturing items in the game so that those on damage control can pretend it is new content.

It is really a lack of foresight and management. This has happened to NUMEROUS game companies before, and the fact that the management at Trion did not see it coming shows just how mismanaged the game is. In the company I work for, you drop the ball like that, you find yourself in the unemployment line...and you do not use the company a reference.

Out of curiosity, what 2 recent games would you say actually met their pre-release hype?

With vines from the "terraforming" process sprawling over the wrecked husks of old buildings. I like the way you think.
