I agree with you on the most part, but to be realistic even ffxi had to change to the new mmo model, which is much much more made for casuals, the weapons you mentionned now take about 3months of work instead of 3years for exemple.

I dont think the problem is the store being overpriced, just that they should put more ways to actually farm the stuff you want.

Was the OP talking about FFXI before all the casual changes ( level sync and all that basically the first and second year active ) or are we talking about the latter part? Loved FFXI pre level sync took me 5 hours to get one level; but it was fun.

wow i miss FFXI so much that is a real MMO i hate seeing people up here say MMO's are usually like this and suck an dont have content at first thats bs FFXI had so much it took me a year to get Lvl 75 Samurai that game has things not many other MMOs have like being able to change jobs/classes with the same character so much replayability(sp) and areas to go toi..

I've been playing this game since the day it came out, many more hours a day they I probably should be, and my lifetime total scrip is at about 500k.

And besides, who complains about money in this game? Even now that they've turned up the vehicle prices, I still never run out of money...

Actually, you can't make that kind of money so you assume im a nolife according to your words, i still live my life and go to work like a normal young adult, i know how to buy and sell. Your lifetime scrip is 500k that took me 2 days to make, first day story, second day trading. Even so, this thread is old, im not in trouble. I even removed that part of my sig an hour ago to make room for something mroe important

LMAO, you must be really bad at this game dude. 500k lifetime is a joke I play this game maybe 3 times a week and pull at least 1 mil. Do your homework, you need to fix your gameplay because 500k scrip can be made in no time just selling random mods and purple items. Seriously, WOW you are horrible at this game, you should sell your game.

Pretty dumb *** thread when you consider the "best loot" will always be marginally better than junk you find in co-op. The best build? Rofl. I can build a character with my eyes closed and still be as effective as someone who takes time, a million script (you kidding me?), to build theirs. Script is damn near worthless. The fact that so many people are bragging about sitting on, not spending, but sitting on hundreds of thousands should tell you something.
