Hellbug NO! Time trial yes!

So, I was running the time trial “Mine Alley” today and just before the counter counted down to one, I got burned to death. Another time I had a Hellbug nest popup in the middle of the track. After that I had an Arkfall battle right on the track, finely I had a Hellbug Monarch sitting in the ring for the finish line.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but this is not the first time I have had this happen in a time trial. I would think that in a time trial nothing would show up but the rings and the land. Is it not the point to get through the run as fast as you can? Not see how many Hellbugs you can kill on the run. But on a happy note: the run that the Arkfall fell on, I got credit for the Arkfall… just wondering if others are loving this as much as I am?

Between the 99ers roadblock and the Monarch hellbug at the start of that race, you only get about 3 clear starts there before one or both of the events will make it impossible to restart without being killed. Its hard to start a race when you get killed by an archer before it even begins. Would be nice if the timer between events at that location was a little longer. After killing 3 monarchs in a row on that road yesterday, I thought about starting race just to notice the 99ers event had miraculously appeared just where the hellbug had just been, and forgot about the race once again.

I was trying the dodge challenger race today and kept having the timer go to 2 seconds before i could start, then i had the first ring not change after going through it. After many attempts i finally got the gold with 1 second to spare only to find that it added 3 seconds on my time at the end screen. Very frustrating. Ive had this identical problem with many of the races along the way.

The amount of restarts i have had to do from no rings appearing at start (just white dots on map) or no car or being placed next to vehicle instead of on it, are one of the reasons I don't try time trials very often as they just annoy me. I like time trials normally, in most games.

Did another track yesterday, the coastline one, and had to restart several times for small things like hulkers running over me or Arkfalls appearing on me, but those could be considered natural occurrences for the environment races are in.

To those having issues with Events in Time trials, I will say this planely. This is an MMO, their are people around in HUB worlds, people like me at times.

By Hubs, I mean places with FT Becons, Now I don't FT Much, but I stop in to trade, offcationally chat, but for anyone who's having events pop in, do the smart thing.. Find someone who's gotten silver, or gold... ask them for help, tell them events are blocking a path, show them where, let them keep the path clean for you.

This becomes a win-win. Every 5 minuets the event respawns, the group member helping you gets XP for keeping it clean, you get a clean run of the Trial, don't be shy, just ask for help. And if you see a Member of NAA about, ask, part of being IN my clan is we help people, randoms, and clan members alike.

Some do mute area chat, so if you see the NAA clan tag, give a yell, but get nothing back type to them. If they don't respond, search ether "EmoPyroNecrosis" or "Illuminatii" if it shows me online, give me a message via PSN, I'll stop in and help you, then grill my member on not assisting.

I had to get golds having to deal with rescue pops, you should too. It is possible. Best strategy? Stop and kill the rescue if its one that is really bad in the way, other wise find a way to zoom by it.

It's part of the game, nothing broken here.

At least there is something challenging right now, I'd like to keep it that way.

I had the timer jump on me to. i finished the race 1 sec. before the max time for silver, however at the end did not give it to me because it added 3 sec. to my time..

took me around 12 tries to get Gold. 5 were me flubbing up. the other 7 were the gamer being crappy.

What really get's me is the scenery pop up. You know like the guard rails/fences not showing up until your car hits it. Or when road block pieces are not there, but you hit them and just before finishing the thought WTF!!! there is a concrete roadblock or a giant structure that you could not see in order to avoid it.

It's sad since it's fairly easy to get Gold in 3-4 tries on ANY time trial if you don't suffer from LAG, POP UP or emergencies and arkfalls spawning on the course.

Not surprising though. Just another aspect of Defiance that makes the game mediocre.

Still fun, but MEDIOCRE at best.

There are a few bugs in the game for sure. I could live with most of them, but would like to get the voice going. How many patches does it take to fix it.
