Latency issues?

I'm having massive lag issues. It is hard to do anything, and it takes around 5 seconds for any response when buttons are pressed. I am also having an issue where I will kill an enemy, but because of lag they do not die, and I continue to take damage from them.

Likewise. Glad Im not the only one too. From watching the PS3 Beta and PC versions earlier it seemed very smooth. Wondering/Hoping its 1st day beta issues with the server. Its almost unplayable for me at times. I live in California and have highspeed/broadband internet ~20mbs. Should be really awesome though if they get this ironed out.

had 0 issues with ps3 version in regards to lag. GFX and framerate on ps3 were awful cant test it on this as its unplayable. Not looking good for this game Im afraid. Ive been in enough betas 2 weeks prior to launch to know issues now are issues in final. I feel reviews not be kind to this game thus shriniking the potential population and the game is boring as sin solo.

Lol i cant shoot emote spawn a vehicle my screens been making noises and blinking red. Its wicked bad for me but im still having fun just running around

And you would think after these hours since its failure to account for all the lag they would have done something about it? Noooope still dying randomly to enemies that show zero health.

They will... they patched the PC alpha & beta all the time, besides it's not like they wave a wand and walla it's fixed.. programming takes a lot of time. I'm not worried, the final product is going to blow us all away... or totally blow!!!

Anyone else experiencing latency issues? (Delay when accessing stores, quests, objectives, vehicles, etc.)

Tons of lag issues ranging from activating something, switching weapons, combat and so forth. But I'm hoping this is just day one jitters as I've also played a bit of the PS3 version of the beta and it played very smoothly (I didn't play it on day one).

Yeah I have tried checking a few times only to give up and quit. I understand that this a beta but this is just silly. How can we test anything if their is absolutely no point in staying logged into the game

I have played the ps3 beta for the last few days with almost no problems whatsoever so I don't understand the problem. I hope this is not a sign of things to come with the xbox 360 version as that is my platform of choice.

Defiance has gone from a definite day 1 purchase to a month one purchase simply because I refuse to buy a game that I cannot play when I get it home. The only saving grace is that things will straighten out VERY soon.

I'm really worried. I have been playing the ps3 version on my brothers ps3 and loved it. I own an Xbox and preordered the collectors edition and I'm worried that this will be unplayable on the Xbox.


Hopefully when I get back from work later this evening it gets better.
