I see so many arkhunters instantly self reviving; arkfalls, co-op, general PvE... know the pursuts and take no shame in tasting dirt. We all do it and your're not going to lose your top spot because you crawled for 5-10 seconds. Been there, done it, and I'm down to wait for a revive because I know y'all will gain from it. So lay low on those blastpod wtfpwns and see if someone has your back; if they don't well you're in a derpfall and you'll top the list anyways.

I only self revive because it is the fastest way to get back into the action. No, I don't aim for the top, but I do like shooting things making self revive a good idea.

So true, but what do you do when you fall again? And how much action do you get self-reviving; I end up re-dead 35% of the time. My point is that there are so many perks and pursuits that rely on reviving your brothers-and-sisters-in-arms. I'll take some grit in my chew, any day, to help a patriot.

I used to be that way until I realized it isn't worth it for randoms at Arkfalls. They never revived me back, so why would I do the same to them? I only revive friends and clan members now.

Please leave your Karma at the door. So many pursuits and achievements require you to revive others, and that is what I'm speaking to. Just say fk it and crawl for a while, make your loss someone else's gain.

I understand those pursuits and what is required, but I am not going to needlessly crawl around when I get nothing in return. That is just my take on it. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you. Fool me thrice, well you are just a fool then for getting tricked three times.

I believe it's "fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice... and you can't get fooled again". I definitely respect your input, and I agree with you. I've seen very little return in the reviving game; thus my reason for the post. I'm very close to reviving 100 other players, and it was a *****. I'm just trying to make it easier on those that are starting out and bolster a community.

I think the biggest problem with completing the revive challenge and reviving in general is a latency issue. I never self-revive during arkfalls (major) simply for people whom are doing the pursuit. However, after crawling around for close to a solid 5 minutes I do self-revive. People literally aren't "appearing" down or when they do, they've been down so long already that they opt to self-revive. I understand the frustration from both angles because I am also working completing the "revive 100 other players during a major arkfall" pursuit. Overall it's gonna remain frustrating until the game progresses through the growing pains all MMOs go through.

I never self-revive at major arkfalls unless my bar is almost empty. I was just at an arkfall and watched some guys killing themselves with grenades and reviving each other. *sigh* I'd rather get mine the legit way. (In think I'm at 60 now)

I usually wait to see if someone will revive me before self respawning.
