You don't put forward idea you just put old recipes that are all the same in MMO since WOW, why the hell any game have to follow those recipes to be good?
I mean, it's not because it's a blockbuster that it's good, look at Justin Bieber, he solds tons of cd's using old recipes. I don't listen to Bieber, and so I don't want to listen to the same sh*t, I want some new original stuff.
I was wondering why every mmo and games were all the same, why did they sell all the same stuff, now I understand that ppl don't like new things, they like the same old clone stuff.
There are three types of players that come on these forums and join in these arguments. MMO players, shooter players, and players that have experienced the best of both worlds. I am one who has played, experienced, and enjoyed both genres. I understand the very minute progression system, and although it frustrated me to no end in the beginning, I have grown used to it now. The issues are that people find that there is no reason to progress in this game. It has been said time and time again. Not everyone that says that wants to have that "l33t ub3r n3wb pwning gear" or whatever it is that you all want to call it in your counter-arguments. I am currently EGO rating 2802, but why? I have 81 of the season one pursuits done, but why? There is absolutely no reason to progress in this game. At EGO 10 I am as powerful as someone would be at EGO 5000 (minus the perks that I am able to use of course.) The progression in this game is so minute that it is almost nonexistent. People want something to work for. Even in shooters people work for that flashy camo or that awesome callsign or even the attachment that they want on their gun. It is something to work for, so that when you have it you feel like you have achieved something, and other people can see that you have achieved it. Sure most will call them a no life, but they are able to witness that person's achievements. Most players want that sense of recognition. Apparently there are very few people in the Defiance community that appreciate the current state of the game, and in the gaming world it is the larger group that generally wins. Especially if those that made the game want to keep their fanbase and source of income. While I do not want the progression system to be that of WoW or GW, I would like something to work towards. Unlocking one more perk slot every so often does not cut it for me.

Hey one thing i learned from WoW was that that stuff adds up.. enchant this ring, that cloak, etc and u have way more power. The perks work the same way. the more and more perks slots u unlock followed by upgrading the perks, and u will def feel more powerful.
For instance i stack fully upgraded ego recharge perks and i feel like cloak is almost always ready. Some downtime but seriously it is way less than when i first unlocked it.
Another good trick is ego rechsrge on full reload and use a weapon with a small mag/clip/etc. Best thing is a rocket launcher with 1 rocket per reload. Combine that with ego recharge on kill and on damage, and you will have that power up all day.
Seriously try the ego recharge on full reload with a one shot per reload rocket launcher and u will be like OH SHTAKO. I messed eith it last night without damaging enemies and was thrilled it worked. combine that with recharge on dmg or kill and ohhhh yeahhhh
