We have a clan mate who's a guy, plays a female toon and has a female name. It's confusing sometimes to hear him talk. lol. Not a big deal though. It's the internet. If you went into a chat room with a name of Babydoll you would have to expect some guys to be hitting on you before you they knew your real gender. Gaming on the internet in an MMO is pretty much the same. I created a female toon as well, but have a gender neutral name. I don't get any friend requests outside of the clan.

Your reasoning to create a female toon is that you want to be able to enjoy what you look at on the screen. I can understand that. Next time, make one with a gender neutral name. You'll get bothered less, I guarantee it.

We'll I made her after the chick from Sucker Punch named Babydoll. She looks like her and all. Clan name is even Sucker Punch. Why people keep breaking it out to say Baby Doll etc IDK...seems like its taken a life of its on. I am not a HEMAN WOMEN hater...a girl is a chick and a chick is a girl where I come from.

Seriously, just because you see a toon in game that’s a chick don’t assume that it’s a girl. I mean jez...the amount of creeps I get Friend Request from and then messages saying "Hey Sexy" etc... Let’s be honest..Most chicks don’t play games. Most chicks don’t play game where you have to grind levels etc. My wife doesn’t play games except the occasional Mario or round of Injustice just to appease my kids. None of her friends play games. I bet about 98% of the population is all guys. So just because you see a toon that’s female and has a girl name doesn’t mean you should hound dog it with friend request and be all upset when your group invite is accepted and it’s a dude on the other end. Then for you to have the nerve and be like oh I thought you were a chick etc then be all sad and depressed. OMG!!! Someone needs to get out more....Just saying!!!

So what’s the lesson here? Be real about your expectations that this is a Dudes game and chicks don’t play it..Even if they do I’m sure they don’t want you hound dogging their leg.

This is a lie, all 3 of my grown sisters would whoop any of you here on CoD. And I know lots of women who play video games. unless this has been your life experience then the girls you meet are probably miserable.

If I was a newb to the whole MMO I would of thought you were a female, due to the tag. but I think of every charavatoon as a male player! until I actually talk to them. LoL, ever get propositions in WoW? sheeeesh. But to each their own, its a game to have fun, an to have "Fun" in your own way. Just to stick up for saying/not saying chick, chick is an old school term, alot of bikers I hang out with have that same thought process. I know some ladies that cannot stand to be called girls, chicks or even ma'am. to each their own is all I can say. ITS A FKN TPS MMO GAME not a DATING GAME!!

This whole thread is silly and gave me a good laugh.

The overaggressive males are present on every game, even games like CoD where there isn't a single female character. As soon as a guy sees a female name, female character, or hears a female voice they instantly get overly excited and want to do things. Whether it's show generous and courteous attention, hump their leg, stalk them, send a message, or start begging for pictures...it's all annoying and the day the genders are actual will be a day for celebration.
