lol. yup. goodbye posts generally produce nothing constructive. feel free to have opinions, but discuss them rationally and constructively, and you'll go a lot further than throwing a tantrum, taking your ball, and going home.

This message is not ment for all of you. To the ones its ment for, you know who you are.

There recently have been a lot of goodbye threads. I like to read them simply for the reasons the quit, and all the fanboys funny pictures waving away. There generally are about 75% of posts in those threads where people say good bye, or things of that nature.

Guess what? Have you not seen the player declines? Do you really think that if people keep leaving the game at this rate that trion will have money to support and fix this broken game? What you guys just laughed at was a potential mark for trion. That person you just waved bye at could have bought bits from the overpriced market. Or them simply being online would let trion and new players know that there still is a community.

Granted, one person doesn't make a difference in most cases. But what about people that feel like the guy in the goodbye thread? They have the same issues, same bugs, but when they go to those posts, they see the hateful messages and people saying bye, maybe they say screw it ill leave too.

You fanboys are not helping this game, community, or trion in anyway.
Maybe the next time you see a goodbye thread, a rant or anything of that nature. Maybe you will shut your mouths if your not going to be helpful and realize that these people are simply frustrated and trying to vent. They simply want answers that trion is not giving. They spent their money, they have a right to want answers and/or be upset. Don't post hateful unhelpful messages. It shows how ignorant and unhelpful you are to people simply on the forums to look into buying the game.

So people, think before you post. It makes a difference to some people.

I agree that fanboys telling people to leave the game aren't helping Trion in anyway at all. People should, for the most part, ignore good bye threads. They are in violation of the Code of Conduct. Report em if you want, but don't give some snarky response.

On one hand your not supposed to post goodbye threads, SOME of the people are just complaining tools, and sometimes I just dont care, take that junk of my board.

BUT....alas there are points to them...areas for game to improve, bugs to fix, input on game, etc...

In the end, I want a better game, and whatever gets that done I support.

I will admit, it seems the admins are taking down the bad posts REALLLLY fast these days...and the ones with a copied discussion with support staff? lasts maybe 3 min lol

They aren't acting like the bugs are a big shock.. They actually took the time to write a formal apology to the players... That's almost unheard of! They probably should have never done it though and gone with acting like the bugs are a big shock due to how people re-act to apologies.. Where I commend them for it, many judge them.. Some believe apologizing makes you look weak. To some when you apologize it means everything going on in that persons head that was apologized to, was right, even if they were dead wrong.

People in this thread saying there is nothing to do in game, they will never be pleased in life with anything. Either that or this game is just not for them. So move along. Many of us are enjoying it for what it is and its core game. Some of us see the full potential and are waiting to see what happens. People in this thread and threads like this need to try and stop speaking for everyone and on behalf of the game like they are using factual information.

Shadow War queues are quick, PvP queues are instant, co-ops are instant.. Ark Falls have more and more people at them. This all on the PC which people claim has the lowest user base....

The actual facts compared to the opinions in this thread are very different.

Most people didn't read the actual fine print that was on many of the Ads.. This is a SHOOTER first and an MMO second.

That means heavy focus on PvP.... If they totally just chopped the PvE section out of the game.. I would still play... The PvE is just a very welcomed bonus to me whereas I absolutely loathe PvE in most MMOS where it actually feels like a grind.... I don't feel forced to do anything in this game. It really is a Sandbox.. Play how you want.

People need to stop treating it like a PVE MMORPG Grind fest.. No one said everyone had to get 5,000 whatever kills today. Just go find something to do in game that isn't a grind... If people feel like their grinding while doing an Arkfall.. stop doing it.. find something better to do or people will just burn themselves out.

No one said everyone had to be in all oranges tomorrow.. in fact.. it really doesn't matter that much.. I'm very successful with my white VOT Fragger that I've had forever because the game does have some cruel jokes. Like eating the only non-white VOT Fragger I got .. (I got a really nice one during the rollback and have yet to see another one).

Edit: If you're grinding I'm going to assume you enjoy doing it, it's what you've been trained to do or lead to believe it was what you need to do in order to complete the game.... Waffles...

The forum moderators should be removing goodbye posts when they're created, your opinions are irrelevant on the matter for the most part. Feel free to have one, of course, but you can't really suggest how people respond to something that shouldn't be posted in the first place. THAT, is a fact.
