I think some of you need to take a step back and remember that this is a video game.
A video game.
A game.
What you may see as trolling, I see as a free bumping to keep your 'Very Important Thread' in a place the Developers might see it.![]()
Players are human beings. Anyone who spent money on this game did so because they hoped the game would be awesome. They are posting goodbye threads because they want attention, of course, but also because they are sad that they game did not provide the experience they were expecting.
Do not make fun of people posting goodbye threads, do not react negatively towards them. We need as many players are possible to play this game, otherwise it will slowly decline as staff is laid off, production budgets are cut and there is nothing left. This game was very expensive to make, probably one of the most expensive games that will be released this year. The player base is currently MUCH too small to make a profit. We need to help change that.
This game is both awesome and also incomplete. There are bugs that have existed in alpha, beta and release. There have been some improvements to the game and some additional bugs introduced. We need the game to continually improve so players stay. Your job as a loyal player is to be patient, encouraging and understanding. Don't be a **** to players leaving, instead be cool and hope they come back some day as improvements are made.
This game has so much potential. The staff on the game probably worked very hard for the last couple of years. They are definitely not perfect and are hopefully learning from their successes and failures. We need to keep providing feedback and hope they devs are carefully digesting our feedback and keeping an open mind.

As a consumer, it is not our responsibility to support Trion in any way. I enjoy this game, and feel like I got a good value for it so far. Would I like to see it continue and improve? Of course. But I don't think that I, or any other player, has any obligation to help Trion support this game. They are a company, and they need to make money. Therefore, if players are leaving, it is up to Trion to get them to stay (or come back). Who cares what another player on the forums says.
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.
So, we've reached the point where anyone who pisses and moans and threatens to leave are the helpful ones, and the folks who post that they're still working at the game and enjoying it are nothing but fanboys and are holding the community back.
And we wonder why the world is going to hell in a handbasket.
