Ive spent days looking for these guys and have only been lucky enough to find two of the suckers. Anyone know if there is an area with a higher spawn rate or am I doomed to wander the badlands!

I see quite a few in gathering the samples emergencies in the farmlands also pretty sure some of the smaller arkfalls have these
Yeah, they're kinda random. Sometimes at Arkfalls. Look for Hellbug emergencies, they seem to have the highest frequency of elemental 'bugs. But it is pretty random and it doesn't seem like more than one type of Archer frequently appears for the same situation.

I found them from minor ark falls
Exotic Goods emergency is how I finally completed electric archers. I found one that regularly spawned in the Tiberon Cove area and had 10 electric archers in about 5 spawns of that emergency at that location. Then...to add insult to injury (I too had been looking everywhere for the buggers), the next minor hellbug arkfall I went to I must've seen 8 or 9 of them. :/

you'll have better luck with the exotic goods emergencies. i found some of them around the muir processing plant on the hills. if you should find some, after defeating them, pull up your map and mark a location about an inch away from your position on the map and drive around or do another activity for about 5 minutes to give them time to respawn. when you go back, you'll go against the exact number and type of bugs before.

I can verify this, this is how I got my last 6 electric archers. Sometimes raiders are occupying the same spot, just take 'em out to get the "Exotic Goods" to spawn. I usually had to go kill about 15-20 minutes doing something else between spawnings, but it ended up being a reliable spot to find them. Thanks for the tip chuevang!
