You have got to be a teenager to think smoking weed is a terrible thing. And it is nothing to be embarrassed about. Multiple counties in this fine country all soldiers defend have decriminalized smoking pot. As of 2014 Washington and Colorado will have legalized pot. Many counties support medical use as well.

You can pick either tobacco or alcohol. Then can pick ANY RANDOM DAY from the past 30 years. And on that RANDOM day, EITHER tobacco or alcohol (both of which are already LEGAL) KILLED more abusers than pot did in the 30 years combined.

You're so cool with your obvious ignorance. I know my response is a bit off topic. But I have to defend one of our nation's heroes from apparently one of our nation's overly abundant IDIOTS. Good day sir, and happy 420!

Considering Sony owns the BlueRay patent...what are these big boy toys you speak of?

This is much like religion and a *****. Sure its ok to have it, sure its ok to be proud of it, but you probably shouldnt be pulling it out in public... Much like you demand that people respect your wishes, you have to also keep in mind some people are not ok with it, and it is as much their right to make that choice as it is for you to make yours. What you do in the privacy of your own home is your business, but keep it in your home. =)

Far fewer people using, and couldn't do it where authorities might notice.

Give it another 30 years. Pot will rack up the kills just like booze in due time. Humans remain stupid no matter what they're taking to dull their senses.

Wow. just wow. You are so effing ignorant. Do a little research. It is NEARLY impossible to overdose/kill yourself from smoking pot alone.

And I don't demand anyone respect my wishes. Public intox is a crime regardless of whether it is pot or alcohol. You can however smoke tobacco anywhere outdoors. Getting mad at the OP for putting "Stoned" in his name is about the same as getting mad at someone for wearing a Coors t-shirt at a ball game. Same principle different chemical.

No actually quite the contrary. Considering you were debating the point I made - about substance abuse...I continued the same discussion. And if you didn't mean OD...what exactly could you mean? Because there isn't any other way its going to kill you (faster than tobacco or alcohol at least).

    Oh, quite quickly.

Kelly, Darke and Ross[58] show similar results, with laboratory studies examining the effects of cannabis on skills utilised while driving showing impairments in tracking, attention, reaction time, short-term memory, hand-eye coordination, vigilance, time and distance perception, and decision making and concentration. An EMCDDA[59] review concluded that "the acute effect of moderate or higher doses of cannabis impairs the skills related to safe driving and injury risk", specifically "attention, tracking and psychomotor skills".[59] In their review of driving simulator studies, Kelly et al.[58] conclude that there is evidence of dose-dependent impairments in cannabis-affected drivers' ability to control a vehicle in the areas of steering, headway control, speed variability, car following, reaction time and lane positioning. The researchers note that "even in those who learn to compensate for a drug's impairing effects, substantial impairment in performance can still be observed under conditions of general task performance (i.e. when no contingencies are present to maintain compensated performance)."[59]

I'd extend this to any use of heavy equipment, or any job that requires good memory or precise manipulation. And before you bother to say 'driving under the influence', I believe alcohol has very much proven that people will do stupid crap that's illegal.
