Frankly I'm became disturbed when she first started commenting how I "impressed" her. To impress her means she has an opinion, meaning she is constantly judging me. I don't need any more voices in my head judging me.

If you pay attention to the beginning cut scene, you are told that the first contact with the EGO can be traumatic, so it is possible. However, I think that this actually being the case if slim as I do not give Trion enough credit to think that far ahead and that in depth.
