Mine 99 Nerfed?

i love how people r always *****ing all the time about this game .When something finally gets fixed that should have been fixed alongtime ago. All these people grinding for keycodes and now r so pissed off ready to quit the game because they cant get there orange weapons and there keycodes like they use to. why dont u people get the keycodes the right way and grind alittle bit and quit taking the easy way. im so happy now when i drive by mine 99 now i wont see some idiot in there trying to get his keycodes. ive never got keycodes the cheap way and i dont plan on it neither and i have 4 orange weapons and im EGO 2440 and i just go to arkfalls when i need keycodes or just run the story again im on my third play through and still loving the game. except all the idiots on here always *****ing about whats wrong with the game all the time. give it some time live with what u got and be patient everything will get on the game soon enough. it an MMO for god sakes.

because people are lazy, it's the same with other games, when someone finds an exploit they exploit the crap out of it. It becomes known, everyone exploits the crap out of it. The developers see the exploit and close it up. Then everyone complains how the developers always nerf everything and want them to spend more money on a game they already spent money on, yada yada yada.

The developers didn't anticipate people doing speed runs in the neighborhood of 30 seconds. That wasn't how it was intended to be. If anything they should have made it so you had to clear the mobs in order to get the rewards. They opted to keep it the same way but nerf the key code rewards.

Now if they nerf the ability to get key codes even more, than maybe people will have a point, until that time I call it game balance. I'm sure getting people to buy boxes has something to do with it, but it wasn't the only reason. Also Trion needs people to buy crap from the store because ultimately it'll be the way they afford to keep their game running.

2nd - it wasnt fixed it WAS nerfed like rewards were removed from emergencies.

They are trying to make people waste more real money and far even longer so they wouldnt quit. They know population is dropping rapidly.

im not going to buy lockboxes because they r less keycodes around and u r an idiot if u do buy a lockbox with your own money. i dont even pay attention how many keys i have until i see. it says keycodes maxed out and then i go and get a tier 4 and if i get an orange thats great but if i dont who cares. its not the end of the world i mean damn

Ok, then educate me on what i'm not seeing.

Base stats on all weapons nearly identical, few minor variances which aren't rarity exclusive.

Bonus stats, haven't seen any bonus stats on white, rarely on green, some on blue, purple and typically atleast 1 on orange weapons.

Synergies, can be present on green, blue, purple and orange weapons, the same synergies across the board with the same stats

Mod slots, the same between all weapons, dependent on level will determine how many are unlocked. Can use the same mods for all rarities of weapons, from White to orange.

Ok so explain to me why Orange and purple weapons are so much more valuable than say a blue or even green weapon? Outside of trying to inflate your own e-peen by knowing it's orange. Go ahead I"ll wait... I'm sure like everyone else you won't or can't answer because no answer exist outside of the canned one about how oranges may have one or two extra bonuses stats... awesome 1.15% extra melee on a sniper rifle, just what I always wanted.

Honestly, I can't sit here and explain it to you. I spent too much time researching and trying things out. You should as well.

However, I can show you my fully modded gear next to yours. If you weren't so condescending about the 'right' way to play I'd even let you borrow it to see the difference in PvP. There is a huge difference.

But there's really only one thing I can say. Get into PvP. Like really get into it. It's the end game at this point.

Mobs are no challenge. You know this. No one is impressed by placing 1st in Co-op or arkfalls etc. The only challenge in this game at the moment is other people.

I only found out peeps were doing this when i went there this weekend for some contract; I joined a group doing the speed runs, i found it boring.

Reminds me of missle glitchers and speed runners in Mass Effect 3 MP. Sure it makes the game easy, fast, get your creds, unlock new stuff at the mercy of the RNG store—but it takes away the fun and challenge. I don't mind earning through fair play.

I never abused mine 99, only used it for contracts. But now.. ???? are they mental?

lol, ok so you used mods to make your guns better, the same mods I can put on a blue weapon. Nothing needs to be explained I did that all in an earlier post. Whether you want to admit it or not, you can have a blue weapon be equal too or even more functional than an orange weapon. As for PVP, sure I do PVP, cloak/shotgun -> Sawed off = instant win in PVP.

Here's a hint, reach EGO 3k+, find some better orange weapons then the 2 you have, then fully mod them. Then come and talk like you know something.

In the end you can't fix ignorance or a lack of desire to learn. Have fun with your dearth of knowledge. I will have fun with my fully modded oranges and will keep trying to learn more about the deeper game mechanics.

Shallow knowledge, like yours sorry to say, does not interest me. Toodles.

You can still get codes from doing other things as well, the only thing that sucks is I'm fairly certain this will bring back the Dbags to the hulker event and make boosting my weapon levels next to impossible again.

yeah its still a good spot for boosting, and you can still get a good bit of keys from doing co ops, ill do 4-5 co ops and get about 15 keys, never seen the nerf on the keys yet, just wish they would increase the chance for orange items, im almost at 1200 ego and only got 1 orange and that was at ego 585 lol

No, they are talking about a reduction in keycode rewards and xp, not that it's now easier

I think they should drop the exp to 1.5k to 2k. Its so easy and fast solo it too.
