Ammo issue

is anyone having any trouble finding ammo on the xbox version a friend (playing the pc version) told me they were in glowing blue ammo boxes but I have found none in the game world and the only glowing blue items I have seen were the vendors and they do not seem to sell ammo I'm just wondering weather any else is having this issue or weather it's just me missing the planly obvious

i played the alpha and they have ammo crates all over the place i just think that it is a older build of the game just to test the servers and other things but think you will find in the released game ammo crates will be more easy to find

Find a lot of boxes the only problem is that hold X to take ammo take too much time to work .

Your saying it takes to long to hold X for a few seconds?

at least they fixed it so it refilled all your missing ammo and not just the ammo for the guns you have equipped.

I dunno if the xbox version of the beta is the same as the ps3 version, but it seems like they are running an older version of the game (probably due to certification process with Microsoft and Sony). But I noticed that in the ps3 beta there aren't nearly as many ammo boxes laying around as there are in the PC beta. When the consoles get the latest version it will be easier to find ammo.

I think I saw on these forums that there will be more ammo caches in full game..? I do hope there will be more ways to get ammo (btw I think some ego skills give ammo like when killing with critical or something)

How am I supposed to get more ammo, because I haven't found any ammo since the first area, and the flashing no ammo icon is annoying me. I wish I'd taken an ammo perk first.

Do enemies ever drop ammo? Cash is pretty much useless when I need ammo.

Don't pretty much all enemies drop ammo? They do on PC, or at least they did last time I played - I have to admit I've not played as much as I don't want to be fed up of Defiance before it's even out

Also, there is a Perk right next to the Overcharge ability that gives you 5% ammo for your equipped weapon every time you get a melee kill. I've found it to be a huge help in not running out of ammo. Especially when fighting those little spiders since they're so easy to kill, it gets all your guns filled back up to max ammo.
