I just got my black dodge last night, I'm surprised that people are saying san fran races were hard. the one I had the most trouble with(not including pop ups and emergencies) was the tiburian(sp?) one in marin. I think I did the two minute san fran one on the first shot. I have to say I hate driving the dodges, the engine sounds terrible. I will be driving it though, since it is a trophy. :P

I forget the name of it, but the worst one for me was the really long one in Marin...Mine Alley maybe? 4:50 for gold. Granted, that was my last one in a marathon session, so I was a little burnt out, but that trial took me about 15 tries for gold. I don't recall the SF ones being particularly difficult.

Took me 15 just to get silver.

Wait.. you can do what with an analog controller?

The only time trials I really hate are the ones that were deliberately designed to get you to crash into scenery. It's a sign that the planner couldn't think of anything else to do except attack the player.

I found all of them nicely laid out and a little too easy. I got gold on all of em within 3 tries, including the high-speed challenger one. Also, I found that there wasn't enough obstacles...it's all mostly driving straight and easy corner and, on some, 100% uptime boost...I mean, come on.

TBH the issue wasn't that they were "hard", it was the fact that it would spawn a sometimes almost unavoidable emergency 3ft from from an arc you are supposed to pass through.

Mine Alley was my least favourite time trial, simply due to its duration. The SF ones weren't difficult unless you had some crazy Dark Matter spawn camping one of the check points. But even that was random - when I returned to Wasteland the next day, I got it on the first try because the spawn configuration at the bottom of the first hill was one that was easily driven through. Like I mentioned before, I've completed the series of races on two characters now (the younger one was jealous and wanted her own black challenger), so highly doable.Just frustrating depending on your luck.

Should it be? NO. I did this pursuit in the first week of launch. I did it in a long and very frustrating 10 hr day. There were a few races I probably attempted 20-30 times before achieving gold. The Dodge Racing Pro time trial took probably about an hour or so before I had a nearly flawless run. It takes practice, and a lot of it.
This. I was going for the Racing Pro pursuit so I could get that oh so sexy black Dodge Challenger and by the time I got to the last three, I got gold on the first run. OP is whining because something is too hard for them to do, not because something is actually broken.

believe me I know all about it, I lost more than one race like that. stop racing clear out the emergency and restart the race. also never hit try again, just restart the race, try again always seemed to be buggy.
