Also, what happened to the PVP map at 0:24

The one at 24 looks like Freight yard, the transport is in the game, it's just the player can't drive it unless they are on the missions, as for it being on PVP it obviously wasn't included for some reason.

Although the game was rushed to coincide with the television show, why people always seem to ignore that point is beyond me. The game should have had a good 4 - 5 more months of beta time before finally getting released, but that would have put it around the first season went off the air, so they rushed it.

If you really own this game and are frustrated, take 3 months away from the game, put it back in and play it again, I can almost assure you it'll be a much better game at that point in time.

Oh heavens no. We need to call for them to take the game off the market and relaunch it when it's ready. And they can patch it successfully.

Where at the bottom of the videos does it say "ETA undetermined" or "In DLC/ Patch 1.1?" When is the right point in which what was sold is not what we actually bought?

I know the transport is in the game, although it seems better fit for PVP, an explanation as to why it didn't make it would be nice. The one at 0:24 through 0:28 doesn't look like freight yard. Freight Yard looks like this.

If you feel strongly about the situation, you should contact the consumer affairs department of your state's attorneys general office. They handle consumer complaints. It may be that your state grants consumers greater protection than the general contract laws of this country under the Uniform Commercial Code, adopted in 49 states. If they find you have a colorable claim, they will take care of it at no cost to you.

but the game does work, I can put it on right now, sit down and play it. The whole conversation in this thread has been about so called false advertising which as I already pointed out isn't the case. Also the game is very playable, now whether or not you like the content available is another story and has no baring on false advertising.

The one you were talking about was Freight yard, it was inside one of the car garages where point A and C are located. Trust me I've been stuck in those maps twice already for 10 minutes with no one around and unable to cap points. It looked like the ramp leading up to the second level where either point A or point C is.

The one you posted must be B point, A and C are inside car parking garages.

Did I ever say I was talking about Defiance? I was talking about the game industry in general. I thought that was clear by my reference to "the game industry". You're the one who tried to connect it to this game, not me.

You're like in Defiance Defense Mode or something, and taking shots at anything that moves. :P

When you take what I said and read what you said, then look at the context. It can be taken as though you were implying that the movies are never broken while Defiance is. Hence the part about you getting your money back the one time a movie didn't work. It's not my fault you failed to provide what context your post was supposed to be taken in.'

This whole topic isn't about whether or not the game works, it clearly works, it's about whether or not people should be able to file a class action lawsuit because of false advertising, due to content we were promised which people don't feel was delivered.

Which again my point stands, the game itself works, outside of it not working, or being something completely different than what you were promised (ie a side scroller instead of a FPS) the class action suit has no real merit. Outside of someone trying to wave his e-peen around. Of which nobody will ever file a suit. If they do it'll get smacked out of court fairly quickly.

Just like the ACM will get slapped out of court with Gearbox winning. Trust me I hate Gearbox and would love to see them get owned, but in all honesty I just don't see it happening. If it did the lawsuit would set such a horrible precedent, and have such far reaching implications it would essentially ruin the gaming industry and potentially the movie industry.

Imagine games getting no pre-launch press, it would be almost like we were stuck in the mid 80's again, the only way we'd hear about games would be their preorder bonuses if those even existed anymore. After all wouldn't want to make a promise of something and have it not live up to the customers standard.

Yes, I can see how your misinterpretation of my comments is somehow my fault. Next.
