1- Vehicles that players can use together as "Transports" in open world to use as resources gathering 1:48 minutes

2- "Thousands" of weapons, that we can collect 2:13 minutes


2- Vehicles advertised and presented as in game, the same ones as in the TV series 4:59 minutes


Ever think this is DLC related??? Jesus frakkin christ this is what is wrong with console gamers, you little punks have been brain washed by activision, infinity ward, EA, and every other little cookie cutter shooter making game developer out there. Just because you do not get EVERYTHING in the first 2 days of gaming, does not mean you will not get it. This is a MMO, now I understand a lot of you console gamers are not used to this, and no it really isnt even a true MMO, but a MMO nonetheless. So just sit back, relax, enjoy the game, or stop playing it and shutup. I mean really do people have nothing better to do than to scower the internet looking to mark videos saying OMG THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE AN INTERACTIVE WEATHER SYSTEM, guess what? Maybe it was making the game crash every 10 minutes so they took it out

I was just stating features that Devs said they would have in the game prior to release, never said I wasn't enjoying the game and I certainly won't shut up about anything I find lackluster or satisfying about the game. The irony in it here is that these post seem to be causing you stress but you took time out of your day to type out a frustrated reply. False. Don't ever mix the main game up with the dlc. They are two separate entities sold.. I didnt pay for the dlc... i paid for the main game. If im not able to get something they advertised on the "main game" portion of the store page, and they throw it into the "dlc". Thats called bait and switch, and that's highly illegal, and easily proven, much more so than false advertisement in the game industry, trust me. Lol.

Around 5:15. (watch to the end from there) So far... I haven't seen the players able to impact the show at all. In fact i heard season 1 was already filmed. So im not sure how they plan on doing that.

We went through this sort of thing with the way Mass Effect 3 was advertised, unfortunately the gamers lost that one and “artist integrity” won out.

Sega, Gearbox (and the other dozen or so companies involved) with the making of Aliens should get sued. I like the game but I’ve seen the E3 video and this game is nothing like whats shown. Bait and switch for sure on that. Its like playing a first generation game on a new system where they havent broken into the system coding or something and yet (I use an Xbox 360) this is a end of system run game? It doesn’t help the downloadable content isn’t all that great either.

Trion and Defiance…. I don’t know yet. I know they are working hard on things (I'll give them credit for that) but yet I’m left wondering about a lot of the lacking content that’s tied between the show and the game as well an overly bland game that needs a lot of work to keep interest in players playing it. I almost feel like I’m playing a beta test game waiting for the full game content to show up.

Anyone remember how we actually had missions to go on with Nolan and Irisa at launch and how that crystal thing we went after showed up in the first show? Now all we get is episode based junk in the Goals that have no affect on the show (so far) and is nothing but after the fact data incoming from the show into the game. The only other so called tie in between the game and show is a so-so contest. Sorry it doesn’t even inspire me to try to compete in it since it sounds more skill based over open to anyone regardless of skill. I was under the impression this cross show/game content would be starting with the first season and considering the first season of the show looks to be only 13 episodes, it doesn’t look good.

Anyhow, game companies should be careful these days on what they are making and if it lives up to the advertised hype they themselves advertise the game to be like. I think a lot of gamers are getting sick of getting crap shoveled at them from companies that think they can release a low quality game or one that’s feels unfinished or full of bugs while being told that the game is awesome by that company and/or unprofessional idiot game reviewers.

You know what Ewok? Thank you.. no really.. THANK YOU. Your like one of the first people i saw that "liked" the game (aliens) but jumped into the defense of the gamers getting hosed. The rest flamed us lol. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.

It was a 50/50 thing with mass effect 3. The "vocal minority" who ended up being more than a minority actually got the extended cut made. /puts on tin foil hat - Though, there's a rumor that it was already made and was going to be a paid DLC and the stink over bioware's deceptive practices and out right lies in regards to mass effect 3 resulted in it being released for free. Either way that incident has shown developers that they can't take a leak on the head's of their consumers and tell them it's raining and expect them to take it sitting down.

We still haven't seen the full effect of it, we'll find out when dragon age 3 and the next mass effect comes out about how much bioware learned from their screw ups.

Hey, I have an idea. How about people start getting some perspective on their lives and stop acting like luxury consumer goods are some sort of human right they are entitled to.
As I type these words here, there are people in the world who can barely afford to eat. There are people who don't have access to clean drinking water, or electricity, or decent plumbing. There are people who have no access to basic medicine. There are people whose internet access is limited by the what the government wants them to see. There are people who can't even read what they want to without fear of some sort of reprisal.
How about we start being thankful for the fact we live in a place where we not only have the income to spend on things like video games, but we have the time and the ability to do so. How about we start gaining a realistic view on things instead of acting like spoiled brats. I'm not saying people shouldn't point out the problems with something like Defiance, or make it known that we're disappointed with some things here and there, but maybe when your biggest worry waking up in the morning is whether or not Defiance is patched, you should probably not act like it is some crime against humanity when society is filled with people whose biggest worry when they wake up in the morning is whether they or their family will still be alive when the sun sets. Get a grip.
