I recently returned to Defiance and FINALLY, a patch was available. However, after the patch, the game is riddled with issues that deem it unplayable. I played a singled mission, once loaded. Then I jumped on the ATV and was unable to dismount. I would even drive into mobs and instead of dying, they simply bounced off of me like nothing. I pulled up right next to them and they had no reaction whatsoever. I was a ghost, stuck on an ATV. Some Skitterlings blew up the ATV resulting in my dismount. However, with my trusty shotgun, I shot and shot and shot at them. All the while the damages numbers would rise above them, yet they refused to die. Grenades didn't even do the trick.
Later, I was lucky enough to run into a HULKER. I ran around like a crazy person shooting and shooting til his brain was exposed. Again, damages numbers rose, but his health did not move, nor did he ever die. Yet he could kick the living crap outta me.
Completely unable to play the game now. Thanks for taking care of the PS3 crowd, we certainly appreciate it. Now, can you please take the opportunity to deploy a patch that actually works?
