How are people landing infectors from across the map?

I've squared of against Arked many times.

All else aside, he's a worthy adversary, skilled and knowledgeable about the game. So I'm inclined to believe him. He doesn't NEED hacks to beat you, believe me.

That doesn't mean good players never hack. It also doesn't mean that people with legit pvp videos don't hack.

But at the end of the day, you gotta give the benefit of the doubt to someone who's just plain good, and let Trion do their job. If that's not good enough, get your own fraps program and prove it. I've done it once or twice in other games and seen real hackers get booted as a direct result. But yelling on the boards is a waste.

Instead, put your energies into upping your game, and figuring out how to even the odds. He's mortal, I assure you. And putting him down is very, very satisfying.

As Brick mentioned, the 47th Legion has been (un)fortunate enough to line up many a time on the other side against Arked and he's simply a boss PvPer who knows what he's doing with an unbelievably well modded and maxed immunizer.

The link is set to play the entire play list, and it alternates between Observatory and Waterfront. I do apologize though, the quality is quite low. Even at these settings though I get FPS drop at times so I didn't want to increase it or it would defeat the purpose of me recording at all.

lol, some ****ty youtube vid of when you played without your cheats on isn't going to absolve you, buddy. I've seen you kill other players less than 10 seconds into a waterfront match with nothing but one burst from an infector. You won't be missed.

LMFAO! Dude, did you even watch the same video I did? The one where they got 18 kills and 0 deaths? If they can do this without hacking, they dont need to hack in the first place. Just own up to it and take your beating like a man.

Arked, you are a superlative PvP'er. My personal best game was 13 kills 2 deaths and 6 assists and I thought I was good... you just humbled me with one video LOL

Every time I don't have a good game it is because they're hackers. It is absolutely inconceivable that I was out played.

Also, just a game. I would assume calling out a hacker on these boards gives said hacker a big ol troll face.

Also there's no bigger compliment to a legit player than accusing them of hacking because they gave ya a spanking.

Take the loss, learn from it, move on.

Though the balance of infectors is up in the air, they are available to everyone.

theres a guy named Arked on right now on PC servers instantkilling everyone with an infector. He appears to be hacking and Trion don't appear to be doing anything about it.

Thoughtless accusation. I am fortunate to play alongside Ark nightly since Alpha, he is a skilled PvP player who knows how to build a loadout and mod his weapon. You just got your *** handed to you by a better player, it happens. Good to see this community can recognize this and is willing to stand up against it. The same accusation was made against Kris of the FD clan and the community rightfully defended him as well. Great Job.

Long and short of it.. infectors are broken. There has been many posts on the issues already, its mostly the immunizer. Long range auto home feature that spawns bugs that auto home and explode for a ton of damage, and a mod causes it to go full auto. Dont take it personal there are many now doing the same thing. Altho i cant say its very 'skillful' to use a broken weapon lol but thats how pvp rolls. Eventually devs will fix it and break something else then everyone will be using that. My suggestion is to just get one yourself and luls.
