I believe they are referring to the fact that once you max out a guns experience you no longer gain experience to your over all skill with that type of guns. So any gun you get has a clock on it as to how long you can use it.

The first thing they could do is change the boosts so they only countdown while you are logged in. It seems really nasty of Trion as a company to refuse to refund any money or give players who bought their boost before an unannounced down time anything back after running out the entire clock on the boost.

Sorry but I have to agree. I won't spend my money - right now. Lockboxes, Boosts, etc. are still useless and unnecessary. Trion should fix T3 and T4 lockboxes (better and rare Items), Boosts should be ingame Time not Realtime! That's why I don't spend any Microsoft Points (Bits). I love to play Defiance, but the ingame Store is useless for me (right now).

The simple option of being able to buy stuff in-game is more then enough reason for alot of people to spend, i doubt they will miss our money. ah who am i kidding take my money i need more inventory space.

Good god, don't ask them that....

£15 was a rough guess btw, I chose an outfit and head I liked then work out how many bits I would have to buy for it. Anywhere between £10-£15 (around $20) worth.

I will admit I spent $5 on a tier 4, worst decision ever, if you are going to have bit boxes they should have at least 1 or 2 orange or purples in them. People if your going to buy bits, put it into inventory spaces early on in the game. TBH thats the only thing worth buying.

Just don't buy lockboxes, and stop caring about epic and legendary weapons.

You can play the game absolutely fine with blue quality weapons. You don't even need to touch the mods.
There's no raiding, so there's no need for min/maxing.

This game is best played casually.
Casually do PvE pursuits, or casually play PvP. You don't need to go all "hardcore" on this game or rush for the best gear.

No one's going to waste $ for weapons that we can only use for half a day before we have to salvage them and move on

The whole problem is the weapon skill leveling system that forces you to abandon almost every gun you run across. While it may be unique, you can't make good guns so relatively worthless and still expect people to pay for them. You have to either players incentive to keep the guns they have (like resetting the xp bar), or keep everything the same and find an alternative route for game revenue. -- even though everything in the store is already ridiculously overpriced. You can buy FULL GAMES on XBL for $10, or spend it on a crappy outfit?


Instead of nerfing all the rewards for events (hence making things like emergencies completely worthless) why not actually give us incentive to spend money on the game by adding content or improving lock boxes etcc

This pretty much sums it up, legendary weapons are not worth anything in this game, you can do everything with any crappy weapon you find in the world so paying real money for lockboxes just seems ridiculous to me.
