DCUO was a steaming pile of ported crap when it came out, and it wasn't free either. But please, continue to compare matured games to a new one.

He was actually replying to someone not knowing this isnt the first multi platform online game. Also DCU and defiance are actually nearly identical in how they have been received by the consumer and how bad they both are at release. Lets hope Defiance can last as long as DCU has up to now.

Not really, no. Lately I've been playing more DC than Defiance, or rather, stopped playing Defiance altogether, even though I had Ultimate Edition preorder.

Hi,

I'm playing solo at the moment till I'm happy that I'm fully aware of all aspects of the game, I per-ordered Defiance well before the release but only took part in a few of the beta's due to working most of the time. I'm liking that there is no class related stuff and that everyone is basically the same, so everyone has a chance. I'm not sure where some think the game is easy, as I'm on some instance mine thing at the moment and it's driving me mad. It's hard going to complete lol but fun at the same time.

I'd like to think though that sometime in the future there will be some sort of crafting, being able to collect scrap and tech to build your own sort of weapons. This would add some more depth for me anyway. Being able to build your own towns and things along those lines to build on the community side of things would be good. Not a necessity but nice if it was added.

More culture missions added to do with race specific things to add depth to races. Missions based on story lines from the show, gun running to help factions and the like. i.e. If your that way inclined you could do gun running for one race that would effect an area of Defiance and cause small wars. So if you have a few thousand players doing the same thing, another few thousand could be against that faction. It all depends of the balance in that area who is in control. Stuff like that would add a little depth, just idea's really, good or bad, I'm sure we will discuses it along the way.

Personally I do understand peoples frustrations with the game but I can't help feel like a minority of peoples negativity is rubbing on others and becoming complaints central. All I ever read is complaints and negativity which to me has not become constructive due to most posts not even being posted in issues/bugs section.

So on that note I thought I would start a thread giving everyone the opportunity to show there are real supporters of the game out there.

Post below why you love this game and what your hoping to see in the future.

So u gave up on defiance to play a piece of crap thats been out for years now. Because i played DC when it first came out
played it for a couple of months and yes it was a piece of crap. Defiance is way better then DC when it first came out so that should show u all the potential that Defiance does have, if u just give it a chance. But u will be back when all of the great content starts coming out and the bugs get worked out just like any other MMO's. So mark my words u will be back to Paradise of Defiance.

So u gave up on defiance to play a piece of crap thats been out for years now. Because i played DC when it first came out
played it for a couple of months and yes it was a piece of crap. Defiance is way better then DC when it first came out so that should show u all the potential that Defiance does have, if u just give it a chance. But u will be back when all of the great content starts coming out and the bugs get worked out just like any other MMO's. So mark my words u will be back to Paradise of Defiance.

Feel free to keep insulting DC or anything you feel like insulting, I've just stated what I did myself. Yes, maybe Defiance will get better, but it will take years judging from what other people here say about the progress of DCs updates.

I'm here to stay also. i love the game and aint going to quit. Me and my friends have got a good clan going 24 people and going strong. Ive run the game 3 times now and done everything pretty much except the EGO pursuit of getting the predator outfit. But thats what im working on now and im loving it and i know how to be patient with an MMO. Been playing for years now and not quitting anytime soon.

I've had this game since launch and it's great fun.

I love shooting things and people and this game lets me do both.
