I don't know if anybody has noticed this but when a female character fires her gun she does not use the iron sights and actually hip fires the gun even when aiming with L1.
Although if you preview a female character in the Create a Character screen the animations are there.
I've always had my character bring her rifle up to her head when I scope.
On the topic of female animations - does anyone else find the standing position for the ladies a bit... awkward?
