I sadly did not buy borderlands 1 on release date however I got it well before Borderlands 2 was announced.

I am just glad to be able to say "I played the first game before the second was hyped to death". I honestly only stumbled across it in the online gamestop store. had good reviews and decided to youtube it. Loved the artwork and bought it.

Borderlands was amazing but people decided to go overboard and mod weapons far too much in the game.
