I really don't think they're going to get anyones money at this point. Not because it's a bad game, but because there are just countless of seemingly unaddressed and ignored issues. If they fail to do well in sales for the DLC I think the game is doomed.
I think for the good of the game they should delay on any DLC, get everything working, add in features and new things the core game will have such as improving the arkfalls, adding new types of emergency's as well as figuring out how the weapon stats etc is actually going to work.

I am 100% positive you are wrong about them not getting anyones money. They'll get my money. I have already paid for the standard game and just two days ago paid to upgrade to deluxe. I loved my work (most days) in the Valley but I never did it for free. I don't expect Trion folks to work for free either. I'm willing to pay for DLC.

Same, but I'm not certain if enough people are around anymore to give Trion money. Just did 3/4 of Explosions 101 solo (dakuso was boring) because the instance finder can't find more people running it.

Will people give Trion another shot when they release dlc? Of course. Will enough people? I certainly hope so.

people forget, this is not a single player game with big campaign and huge DLC story modes, its online game only. if you dont know the difference, dont ever play online games again, go back to single player RPG's and stop moaning.

Must be your first mmo, yes? if it's not, then you haven't been really paying much attention to the mmo market or what a basic mmo entails if you think this game is acceptable enough to be even called an mmo.

It's always amusing when people throw that "well it's a third person shooter first and mmo second" so then it fails as a third person shooter as well with only 2 pvp maps and shadow war. With no ladder for competition, nothing to really show for in pvp, no one on one dueling, no free for alls. Tsk tsk.

This game is fun at times, it's good for mindless shooting things. But story wise? it's short. Pvp wise? it's basic. All the other stuff you can do, contracts, rep, et cetera, that's just filler and doesn't have anything to do with the story or the pvp.

With what they revealed on the DLC, i'm content. However, that doesn't mean I will excuse the current state of the game.
