Literally .. today I got a few more items they missed the first 4 times around of giving me the stuff I was supposed to have on release.
this game is dying faster then GW2 that did essentially the same thing .. no real beta ... then disguise the beta as release and laugh at the idiots who don't realise they are never really going to work on the game.

After all .. if enough players are so stupid all you have to do is throw new stuff at them every few weeks to make them happy and keep them using their mommies credit card in your in game store.. who cares if real gamers are happy. You can make more short term off the idiots then you ever will long term off the real gamers. Yes this is now a trend. because people are stupid enough to fall for it. Personally after 3 fails on prepurchased games i'm simply not prepurchasing anymore.
I'll wait till release on single player games, download hacked edits to test game .. then buy it if its worth it. For MMO's i'll start using the "share accounts" that appear on the net a few days after a release. In fact if no share accounts appear in the first week then the games is usually worth getting into since they are from people who are so disgusted with the game they put up a web interface to their account so others can play it.
Why reward developers who don't do their job properly?
Because you WANT them to keep screwing you...

After all this is said .. just remember .. Real devs rarely have any say in the games anymore since their deadlined by corporations who couldn't care less about anything other then how much money they can make and how fast. The gaming industry is headed for a crash ... its already happened once and took 15+ years to recover.

Sadly I won't be around when it recovers this time.
What free content? Umm, lets exclude the pursuits because obviously you don't want to include that stuff.... So when the DLC starts to roll out you'll gets heaps of new "FREE" content. What more do you expect or want for free? Should you get the same content the people who bought the season pass get? As for not getting items you prepurchased, did you contact support? Did you go into live chat. What pre-purchased items are you talking about a suit that you got in the wrong color?

Yawn.... you could always not play the game for a few weeks or even months and come back later... Na you can't do that, then you can't have other people justify your opinion on disliking the game and it lacking content. As for the in game store.... lol that's pretty funny actually, nothing in the in game store is worth buying outside of inventory upgrades, of which you can buy 15 and have plenty of space... heck you don't even need to buy the slots even.

What do you consider real gamers, the guys who refuse to buy games but instead pirate them because LOL @ the game developers, pfft I aint paying money for that crap... Next time do research wait until the game comes out and then make your choice... na you'll steal the game for free because you are a cheap POS.

Cool peace out thief, enjoy playing your pirated games,

With Defiance, in 30 hours, you can complete the main mission (which is insanely inferior in overall quality), do every co-op map, dabble in the below average rapidly dying pvp and experience every type of the forgettable sidequest. I have no idea what the length of Bioshock's dlc is or will be. However, I guarantee (like the original product) it will blow Defiance's add-on content out of the water in regards to quality and fun factor.
It took you 30 hours to do that? Were you playing with one hand?

I just don't get the mentality behind charging $10 for a single outfit but then turning around and saying $10 will get you the whole DLC package. Don't get me wrong...I'm totally cool with $10 to expand the game, or any game that I like for that matter, but it seems like people would be more willing to throw a few bucks into the game here and there if the prices were more balanced.
Uhm... pretty much that. 10$ for an outfit vs 10$ for a DLC? I got a season pass from the Ultimate Edition, so I shouldn't complain, but I'm still quite disheartened when I see it. There were so many threads complaining about the prices of outfits, which are basically recoloured textures for already existing outfits. Defiance should learn a lesson on "skins" from Riot and their League of Legends.

Yeah, that was my first take on the price. $10 for the DLC seems reasonable to me, actually - but now it makes some of the already overpriced items in the store look even more so.

The defiance store is being used as a way to offset the cost of keeping the servers running and constant updates, or do you think the developers work for free? The outfits and car skins aren't even important, I haven't bought any of the store stuff outside of two inventory upgrades. You know, you don't pay a monthly subscription to the game, how do you think the developers get paid? If someone wants to buy them, awesome go for it, I personally won't buy them, but think it's great if someone does.

As for being overpriced, who cares, if you think it's overpriced, get the in game version which is a slightly different color. Lets try this experiment, go into whatever job you have and tell your boss you've decided to work for free, for the rest of your life. From now on, don't accept your pay check, instead work for the love of doing your job.

How long do you think you would last at your job if the boss wasn't paying you? Why do you expect the developers to work on this game for free?

because the demand will be high enough to profit, unlike a pink spy hat.
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.

Just read the blog, and the only thing i dont agree with is the pursuits, I think they would gain more but giving a few new ones for non DLC holders to keep the people who dont buy the Season pass interested in the game, however with that said most of what is listed should be for DLC holders Should be good either way in my opinion

I think in DCUO, they should let me as a Free member have more than 2000 gold at any given point in time. Why should I have to pay to use money I earned in the game if it goes into the Escrow account? If you want the pursuits that will be included you buy the content. Also who says free users won't get some pursuits as well?
