Quite an impressive background Morgana, I'm glad to have you with us. Personally I'd like to see a more active presence from a community coordinator. Sledge has his place relaying the big announcements to us, but there's not really anyone active here at the moment to answer commonly asked questions, show that a suggestion has been heard if it's a good one or join discussions. I think your experience as a Game Master would be best put to use with these suggestions!

For example it'd be cool to see the odd question answered, or even told that it can't be answered yet but to stay tuned, a suggestion that is commonly asked for given a direct response and a few debates pointed pointed toward a more constructive path, as many seem to boil down to flamewars right now.

In short/tldr; Give us something to check the Dev Tracker for.

Presence would be pretty awesome, its always reassuring to communicate with people "in the loop" so to speak, though, its at times rather similar to a very hungry Sarlacc in here, so.. yeah it could get a bit acidic from some people =/

Off-topic question: Do you prefer Defiance on a controller or a keyboard/mouse?

AHA! Back to a precious, precious keyboard! A full sized one that isn't on a mobile device!

Generally I'm a PVE sort of person, but I enjoy a little bit of PVP here and there-- I prefer to run it with friends, to avoid feeling overly alone.

My background, in more depth:

I started with Trion as a Senior GM in February of 2011. I slowly turned into more of a bridge of information between Customer Service and developers, and in May 2012 I hopped into QA. Today marks the start of my community career, though I did frequently speak with RIFT players in-game to gather feedback, suggestions, etc while I was a GM!

I am honoured to be compared to Gaile. Here's hoping I can live up to that, I admire her work in keeping players informed.

The dev team has a pretty tight schedule (all that delicious DLC to nom, 5 installments to come!), so suggestions I will gladly take, but with of course no guarantees. (I would love the skitterlings. My desk is covered in cute things...and spiders, centipedes, and scorpions!)

Regarding a more active presence: what do YOU guys want to see? Do you want my general presence? Game update information will likely be best acquired from our livestreams (one tomorrow!) and the posts here from the Sledgehammer himself. I will say now that I am still unsure whether or not I'll make a twitter, but even if I do, I promise to keep as much contact as I can with you guys.


Re: My name name. I actually have liked Morgana Le Fay for quite some time, and the name has no connection the BBC show. I promise that I am less of an antagonist! (But isn't that what any good super-villain would say~? ♥)

It was my GM name for RIFT, and I thought I'd use it again for my work as Community Coordinator.

But but...
There was no RE: for my weather system.
Look at it in the video transmedia revolution, it's amazing, you can see the sky changing colours, the rain, and the gradual accumulation of water on the ground surface. I know its there somewhere, already done, complete and waiting.
Imagine how crazy the game would look with it! Will we ever get that, or it's just a dream, Morgana?
