Why did vehicle prices go up?

Simple answer is they want you to buy from their store, 30kscrip in game or 900bits in store. You see they think folks will see the price increase and go OMG but then notice that a better vehicle is cheaper in the store but not realise then that they are using real money to pay for this.

I bought my Nomad from the store because i liked it even though i can easily afford the ingame vehicles, but there are a lot of children and not so wise gamers playing this game that i believe Trion are aiming to take advantage of. For this reason i have taken my paypal off of my sons console because he loves to get online and game with his mates and also wants what they have in games but does not realise when he gets microsoft points to pay for it that he is spending my money.

There has been a recent issue about pay to play games on iphones and android software i think now that maybe consoles and pcs should also be investigated as im sure there are a lot of parents out there whose children have run up bills buying things on the console because they dont realise that microsoft points cost money.

I didn't notice that there was more script involved when doing arkfalls. I do arkfalls but mostly focus on getting the main story done and doing the area pursuits on my way. Right now I have 44k script and the only thing I buy is weapons at vendors. Maybe ill have to look into getting more script., I have bought basically any vehicle I've seen on special, also bought the nomad in store, also have the red challenger from preorder. I just like having them, and actually since my script was so low I didn't want to waste half of it on the special challengers this weekend.

When I was in the Army we had a real strict policy of "is ain't broke don't fix it". Apparently Trion has decided to take the opposite approach with Defiance. They put resources into changing prices in the vendors, removing keycode rewards from emergencies, taking away rewards if people don't "participate" and nerfing weapons. But they still can't get a few of the challenges and pursuits fixed.

I've also looked into my crystal ball and have seen this: in the Defiance store you can use bits to purchase a special lockbox that is gauranteed to contain one purple or orange weapon. Since me and my crystal ball avoid the Defiance store like herpes we weren't sure what the price in bits will be. But it'll probably be high.
