I looked at the game but honestly from the research i did , game is just wow with a dnd skin but not really following dnd that much. (note this isnt from me XD its what i read, i was actually interested in it before that)

No my friend I think im ready for a change. They need a change in the mmo industry. This loot treadmill stuff is getting old (to me).

Games like.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tlPDsbp_M4 Are the future in my humble opinion.

Though i do hold a little bit of faith that trion will be able to turn this around a bit and lose some of the boringness to it.. but so far.. well we'll see.

The problem is that the game was firstly designed on consoles and then transferred to PC. Hense the awful UI for those guys. The only previous MMO on Xbox anyways was Final Fantasy and I've heard many horror stories from the pay monthly nightmare that happened with that game. Being a console player the pay monthly idea is very alien and im sure would turn a lot of people off (Not that the awful reviews and bugs in game haven't already).

To go back to the topic at hand the DLC looks good and the price is amazing when you consider games like CoD is charging more basically for 4 maps and one new zombie map its great. Im not saying its fair they charge us with the bugs we've suffered and Im sure if people hadn't already paid for season passes they might have given one for free. But still trying to stay positive even though it could cause a car crash later on.

A monthly subscription never insures quality. After the first few MMOs really secured themselves, devs knew that gamers would pay the subscription, and started testing how far it took before they were no longer willing to pay each month. It was very far indeed.

Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.

What I'm more interested in, is where these new missions will actually take place, as there's no mention of a new area/map expansion.

Did I read right? Only Paid DLC gives you more of the storyline and arena access?

I play ffxi and pay 10$ a month, not the best price but the amount of stong content is mind blowing. Sadly ffxi did not get the best reviews for xbox (slightly higher than Defiance) but on pc 7.5 to 8.5 in score not bad for a game over 10 years old.

Yes, fan-girl here so just defending my fallback mmo of choice

Since this game has a staff that is at least trying to fix things and proving it can release more content i have faith in it. I mean, how long did it take microsoft to make the xbox as good as it was bragged to be pre launch?

For the fist dlc I was hoping to see something that would make it more mmo'ish, as stated before maybe this seige thing.
Defiance: Tinsera Jantix and Kilona Jantix
    Clan: Waywatchers
    Xbox Live: Kaythin
