The Scrapworks Salvage instance will not populate the enemies. You can walk from the beginning of the instance, all the way to where the boss is and none of the enemies spawn. It's completely empty.

This has happened with the other co ops too. Doesn't happen a lot but you aren't the only to have had this problem since the last patch. Basicly the movies does not end so you can just walk around, when that first movie ends you should get a load screen within like 10-20 secs, if you don't, you might as well quit and rejoin the co op. Annoying but uncommon. I must have done 15-20 co ops yesturday (day off work and I decided that I was hating the world) and only had it happen like twice.
Most of the times what happens is that the game bugs on the last boss, so people keep going in and out with new players. That's why later on you sometimes out of the middle of nowhere you get a finish screen with so many names on it. I find that when the last boss glitches its best for everyone in the group to mass suicide (you have to point something like a rocket or grenade launcher at your feet and keep going til your toon dies, then you have to rez and do it one more time) and extract out to the point before the last boss. Sure you have to replay the last boss but at least you don't have to restart from the beginning again. I highly think this is why you don't see any mobs when you join because they have already been cleaned out already.
Was joining a group today and i spawned in the boss area. So i had to wait for the other players to reach the gate, but no one wants to wait for that. I dont see it as a big issue but WHEN it happens it can be a litte annoying.
It isn't that. The issue seems to exist in different coops right now. Scrapworks salvage was just one of them. It wasn't that people weren't getting to the gate since the unlock zone (blue key area) for the gate was completely missing. And the gate is not open. I've had it start me at the very beginning of the map along with other players. No enemies and all zones are open but sometimes not all of them, some gates may be locked. Also had it treat it like it was not a coop since we were not in a group. I've also had it spawn me in the progenitor's boss area and watched it spawn other players.
Angel Island also has a bug but there's a workaround. You get the the boss, the matron and kill her and it won't end. It still says you must kill her-so someone figured out everyone has to die and start the boss again and it works. I think this is what happens in other coop maps but everyone has just left the mission. What those in the coop need to do is all die and see if it starts the boss again and finishes.
I think this is also why the coop leaderboard is messed up. Max is 4 players but in messed up games it shows up to 20. I think this is from people entering and leaving.
There are other things messed up in the coops right now-they kick people for no reason (no, I wasn't kicked by the leader since I was still in the group and I was the leader), but still gives them credit for completing the coop.
