Who's actually considering to restart as a new race?

only inv slots that apply to new char is the preorder/ arkhunter event ones. Store purchased are char bound.
Vehicles and costumes carry over aswell i think.

I hope I can keep my progression when I start to play new char. Like why not all characters cant have account-wide-progression. I just maxed my first weapon today, (%5 to dmg at lvl 20 btw) hell no I start it again.

You don't.
The only things that carry over at the moment are any Bit-store bought outfits/vehicles (not inventory boosts). Everything else you have to do over.

There would be if the races had special attributes, but there are no 'classes'.

I wish they did. To me it was obvious since the main cast of the show is Human > Irath > Castithan. Most people also seem to have high school like crushes on the Tarr family.

I think there was a hint in a thread regarding the "rerun" season for a limited time, like the Dodge challenge, or the current Most Wanted challenge. So at that time, you can complete the Nolan/Irisa content for the outfits.

On day 1 i created my 4 characters to reserve the names.

So I plan on creating a new character with the new race but only for the fact i have one. I may even complete the main mission line with them but that would be the extent of it.

Im definately going to roll a 3rd character when this drops. I just enjoy playing the game, repetativeness takes a rather long time to set in for me. I have 5 playthroughs on borderlands and will be starting a 6th with krieg as well. Games like this never bore me and are great time killers

I would rather they release a new race that actually looks like a new species and not humanoid

try 12 playthroughs on borderlands and my badas$ rank was near 40000 lol after nearly 300 hours of playing borderlands i was ready for this game and from what the website says i believe the way they worded it you will be able to use the charge blade class for free as part of the free dlc the payed content is getting the car missions story line and starter weapon pack stuff
