since a majority of the issues people are having keep creeping up and the reason it takes time if not months to fix said issues is because there are thousands/millions line of code that have to be checked and rechecked to find the issue. then when the issue found and repaired because of one code being changed could throw off the dynamic of a different line of code that is reliant on the first that caused the bug. so for instance say they fix the reload glitch, you reload perfectly each time, yet because of that change for your proper reload would inadvertently cause an issue with the gun firing. say you reload right but each time you fire whether its a lmg smg bmg or even a single shot carbine/ sniper rifle your clip empties. it is not easy to track down the true cause of a bug or all that link to the original issue. they are known as "semantic errors " in coding, the game works the code works and the compiler finds 0 errors . the code is correct as far as the computers/consoles are concerned but when they are accessed does not do what was originally intended. for example the reload issue people are having could be a result of a line of code which basically would state "interrupt reload with critical hit" so you would have to avoid taking a critical hit to reload, simple enough , should work. yet because of the semantics in that section of code could inadvertently cause when you take any damage or interaction from a weapon or enemy that instead of just interrupting you get interrupted and instead of the clip being replaced in your reserve ammo a section of code for clip recovery might have been inadvertently left out.
so the people who are willing to wait understand that it takes time even if not the details. and like was stated before in this post " if it is unplayable don't play it "
although trion released their game with bugs( happens a lot ) they delayed dlc to make sure that the game issues would be fixed.
dont sell the game short because you are annoyed, give them the time they need to finish what was started to polish their work and then expand it .
