I had the same issue, could not select them-the prompt to get it wasn't there and I kept trying. I ended up logging off and back on and then could loot the first, but tried to loot the second and at first I couldn't. I ran away, came back, and then I could.Originally Posted by H3adstomp3r
For the record this has also happened in other places-getting samples from hellbug nests and so on. And sometimes the prompt (get sample) and the x do pop up, but then I can't collect the sample. Sometimes that does not pop up and of course I can't get the sample.
Another issue is that sometimes the prompts to loot things is out of range of your view. I've had to look around sometimes to find the prompt and it's not always in a convenient place. Sometimes I have to be close to the target and sometimes further away in order to see it and select it.
Your post was not a time waste since it is an issue.
I am unable to loot the hellbug droppings. Have logged in and out. have abandoned the mission and come back a couple days later to try and finish. Please help.
Trying to complete the pursuit this is a part of, but can't because of this bug. Dropped quest a couple times and retried, logged out and did the same.
