What happens when you beat defiance main mission?

Torc starts a slow clap. Then a giant barrage of fireworks erupt. Three of those robots that block the San Francisco bridge perform a riveting, emotional scene taken from 'The Story of Helen Keller.' Then Nim and all his decoys teleport in to 'Hammer Time' and MC Hammer comes out of nowhere and breaks out dancing with the Nim decoys as back up dancers. Then while all the confetti is raining down and everyone is partying giant gold letters materialize on your screen stating "CONGRATULATIONS! Thank You for Playing! Please do not use your bits on boosts right now because the system is broken. We will have full disclosure of all our patch notes!"
Then Jon Cooper gives you a spirited slap to the rear exclaiming, "Go Get'm Cowboy!"
Then the game fades to title screen "Press Start" and now you only have to hit start once before it loads.

i appreciate the info guys, cuz i just didnt want to do something thatll cost me a lot of hrs ( 9 days total, woulda had more but got kids to feed and get up for school lol ) of hard work, i feel a bit safer now, so ill finish up the rest of my sidemissions in san fran, then ill kick nim in the poopchute and all lol

You get to go back and play it again if you chose. You could also go and finish all the side missions, go through all the goals, play some arkfalls, do races. You have a whole world to explore!!!

true, but my main concern was i didnt want to lose all the stuff i worked my butt off for by beating the main mission lol cuz that would really suck, but i wouldnt want to redo the story though, once is enough for me lol not to mention all those bloody side missions as glitched as they were lol...but since everyone said i can still keep all my stuff, my ego level and inventory slots, then im happy, ill beat it then wait for some new :::cough cough:::: content and whatnot lol, or i can help other players with their co op pursuits and stuff, make myself useful

ah, just beat nim, he wasnt too hard, more of annoying than anything really... he kept spamming the same abilities over and over so he was pretty predictable...the 3rd time was the most annoying cuz he kept on doing the same move over and over and over, truly nim has no skill whatsoever lol, but im glad i didnt have to start over or lose anything, its funny how 2 new side missions pop up right after you beat him, gonna do those and keep doing co ops to help other players and maybe finish up some pursuits while im at it
