    Another shotgun user upset about another weapon being cheap....


    They should nerf the immunizer, and make it so NO shotgun can kill in one shot/one burst. that would be nice.

    would be alot less scrubs with shotties and blur, and immuniziers.... people who *gasp* have to use weapons that require skill....
    So Not Pros - {SNP}Super.Bean, always recruiting, PvE focused, open to all, PC-us
    Weapon stats will >NEVER< scale to ego level, it would break the game.

    Ok, I'll agree when they nerf shotguns to 100 dmg across the board

    When the world goes to shtako, someone has to clean it up.

    Not exactly.
    I use a Rocket Launcher, the Bonfire mainly, and a Shotgun secondary.
    Other times I just BMG Heal.

    IMO this whole problem can be solved by providing a defense against every weapon/nano type. Typically this is done via armor and/or shields.

    I know, you're saying "But then no weapons will be viable". No, while there will be a defense, and a darn good one (say 50-70 percent protection against a certain weapon/ammo type), you can only have one equipped at a time. This will effectively negate the over use of certain weapons since everyone will then equip the bug defense shield. If the other team has nothing but shotgun users, equip the shotgun defense shield. It won't be long before the overuse of one weapon type or another stops as people and teams get their ***** handed to them for doing it.

    Well, good idea or what?

    Don't know if it's been mentioned but this weapon does not slow enemies. That would be the Innoculator I believe, which has a 20 m range.

    These guns would be fine if they didn't have a 40 meter homing range. If you actually had to aim it'd still be good yet wouldn't be broken.

    40 meters? Lol, kids, get your infector skill up to 15, you unlock a whooping 20% range increase.

    I posted the same thing on another thread. Currently in the game right now, frag grenades do fire elemental damage. Fire resistance halves fire damage, so you can survive those "zomg op" instant detonate 1-shot frag grenades by having the proper gear (you'll just barely survive though, 3.6k halved is still basically all of your HP... I could see the logic in wanting to nerf them down somewhat). If infectors did biological damage, you can bet your sweet *** tons of people would get biological resistance, making a large percentage of infectors go away, because if you think their damage is a joke now, think about how long it would take to kill someone if it took twice as many shots.

    I don't know.
    I've been having a lot of fun in PvP tonight with the BMG.
    Still seems a bit silly if you miss the initial Infector user but spawn after and get chomped on by random bugs.

    Immunizer gun mai fav.gun does very low damage gun hit for 5 dart damage but got to love bug come out 1280 each damage and with 12% bonus damage that i put on to lvl20 gun skill.

    lol

    not why complain when gun does 5 damage on dart... bugs do 1280 damage i think it fair gun...

    plus use kancker how ever you spell it does 127 damage on dart hit have to wait till kill that npc or player be four the bug will spawn out

    I'm not sure but I think the problem is mostly the range.
    But yes, there are "better" Infectors but people are taking advantage of the Immunizer as the "anti-sniper" component missed the nerf / patch.
    Doesn't matter. I'll soldier on.
