Can I reach 5000 without pursuits?

I'm just wondering if I will be able to max my level without doing all the pursuits. I hate races. I'm not a racing game fan and I have no interest in "getting a silver medal" on a race. I'll enjoy all the combat related pursuits, but I don't want to spoil my game wasting time doing something that I don't like.

I've done 90 total pursuits already and only at 3000 ego. Good luck sir, lol.

You cannot get to 5k without the pursuits.

Yes filling the bar gets you an ego point to spend in the ego grid....which is worth no ego rating. When you increase anything in the ego grid (spend the point you just got for filling the xp bar) you gain 10 ego rating.

You get the 10 EGO for filling the bar, not spending the point. As soon as you fill the bar, your EGO rating goes up by 10. Try it---you'll see.

It doesn't matter whether or not you spend the point...

im sure its possible, but it would take an incredible amount of patience and time to do simply because you only get about 10 ego every time the xp bar fills.

ok first off you can reach any ego you want if you do all the missions and sides then do your pursuits there are people that are already ego capped and the game hasn't been out for 2 months so do some research before you speak out of your butt just because you can not understand the simple play of a mmo style game and having 85 members is sad when none of them are active

Only 2600 EGO Rating is possible from straight up leveling. 2600 EGO equals 260 times of leveling up. Which is equal to 260 EGO units to max out all perks and the 4 abilities.

So what? Yes, if you level up more than 260 times, you will have EGO points that you can't spend.

But what makes you think that's not allowed?

Yes you are correct. I was wrong in my response. Either way though once it is maxed you no longer get the point or the 10 for the bar being filled. 2800 is max from xp/ego grid.

Maybe I am wrong about the 2800 also, but when I did the math I got 2800. Is the other poster forgetting the 4 main abilities that have 5 spaces each? That would account for the 200 point difference.

So if you acknowledge that the 10 EGO comes from filling the XP bar, then why would you think that the EGO you get from XP would be limited at all by the grid?
