Maybe the compensation part is since they didn't put a gun up there they left the turret so a character can get up there, spin around, and yell "weeeeee yuuuuuuu weeeeee yuuuuuu weeeeee yuuuuu" through the mic while driving down the road

Well if the turret spot does STILL rotate, he could look behind us and pretend to be Maverick and scream,"Bogey on OUR SIX!!!"

It shouldn't have taken this long for us to get a confirmation on that.

Highly respected outlets have even reported that would have it's own turret. After that got sorted out, we've had to wait forever just to know if we could even shoot from the damn thing.

So, let me start the 2 month process over again with this;

Might I ask why the point of the "Truck of Doom" is if it doesn't have any weapons?...

If you guys technically can't do the turret, a good idea would be to put blades that come out on the side of the truck that damages enemies when you drive by them, so that it would at least have some kind of offensive capability.

Play freightyard and you'll see the problem with turrets, now multiply that by 1,000. Besides the turret can wait. A four person vehicle has been required from the start though.

BTW that was just a convention demo. those are very rarely 100% accurate.
