I thought this was intended, as it's kind of a frantic-opening battle to see who can get the first node.
Guess everything fun in this game is a bug. LOL
That might be fun, if not for the fact that
A) people keep spawning there after their first death, allowing others to spawn kill
B) people can be killed before they have control of their character, which kind of defeats the "battle" part, as they can't fight back, allowing others to spawn kill with impunity

@Sledgehammer the spawns for shadow war in ALL regions of the in-game and eu and na servers feature both teams spawning in the same EXACT defualt spawn its a race of who gets in the game first and backing up and waiting. I found a trick exploiting this big (whether intended or not) when you spawn and backup once you see red damage numbers appear from a spawning character you drop a grenade. Which brings me to the point, when players FIRST spawn blue or red damage numbers appear symbolizing friend and foe.

Seen it happen when you first enter SW on all places, usualy stay and kill them myself but thats becouse i dont want to get someone else on my back
Also spawnpoint B in Mount Tam, when you have died and pick B it spawns you in the default spawnplace instead of close to B. (like on the other side of the map SW-wise
Hopefully that is enough info to do something about it?
