i call BS. im ego 3988 and have only seen oranges in lockboxes, mustve killed at least 100,000 enemies.never saw anything drop above a blue. however the first week of release i was getting purples as drops, but then you nerfed the hell out of drop rates and took half the fun outta the game for me also a heads up to you guys, ive noticed whatever weapon skill you have maxed out you find less of that gun. lvl 20 on lmg,assault,pump shottie. lets just say 90% of my drops are bmgs snipers and launchers.

Like i said, sledge is bs'ing. It's a way for you guys to keep on playing the game and get into it. I mean, hey if it dropped more power to him.

I spam threw Arkfall endings, and never pay a nevermind to the awards, and I tend to always spam square over loot, never pay a nevermind to the name. So could of been an award, could of been a drop, but it wasn't from a lockbox, those are burned in my brain forever..

That said, best mod I got was a purple, would love to see an Orange Mod :3

Same.. EGO 1,742 and have gotten 6 orange weapons all from lockboxes. My first orange was at 321 didn't get the next one until 1,124.

If it dropped on the ground from an enemy, then you MUST have screenshotted it on the floor yes?

I will have to agree with this, no screen of the gun on ground = it never happend.

Moral of the story: Oranges might drop, but it happens so rarely they effectively don't.

Hmmm....I have never even caught a glimpse of a Purple Mod - let alone...an Orange.

To me they are both Myths passed down by generations of Ark Hunters.
