Someone said purples were dropping on the first week? Didn't play that week, I'm 2625 and only seen blue drops.

These two people saying they have seen an orange drop, was it perhaps during that first week?

Sorry Sledge but i've only got one orange and that was from a lockbox the rest were blue and purples from world mobs so yes i think you need to have a little chat with the guy/girl whos in charge of drop rates and ask them what the drop chance of a legendary is because myself and probably everyone else who plays the game has only got them from lockboxes and not from the world.

I didn't say it would be easy or that they are common, but they do have a chance to drop. I know a lot of users who obtained Legendary weapons from normal enemies around the world.

Me! Got my first Legendary at Ego 223 and it was a sexy shotgun. Dropped off a final wave of enemies during an emergency.

I've played almost every day since launch, killed countless enemies and opened many lockboxes of every variety and I have gotten a total of 2, that's right, TWO, legendary items. One from a tier 4 lockbox and one from a tier 3. I've never seen anything above blue drop from dead enemies.

And so far the big loot weekend has been another night of white/green garbage. I think I've spent more time today salvaging it than I have playing.

Same here for me. Ive only ever seen orange items from lock boxes. Ive never seen one drop in the world from anything.

Moral of the story: Oranges might drop, but it happens so rarely they effectively don't.

Agreed, also, I think this weekend should be re-named "guns of color week" since rare normally implies something unique...which the gear in this game is not.
