It is not *years* in advance.. well that is all I am really going to say to that. Defend Trion all that you like some of us will still point out legitimate faults whether you agree with them or not to defend Defiance.

We are probably playing it to test the servers.
They put this build together 2 months or so ago.
The fixes you think need fixing probably have been by now.

When I managed to get in for about an hour it ran fine so issues like taking forever to interact with something must have been lag issues.

It was not billed as a stress test that is my point. If that is all it was meant to be then why all the hubbub? Why lift your NDA? Why allow all those free codes.

If you are seriously considering not getting because the graphics (least important thing in a game) are not PC level there is something wrong...

It wasn't that they weren't on par with PC, it's that they actually looked TERRIBLE.

but, some valid points. the download is less than half the size of what the final installed version is supposed to be, and if this is a four month old build then that's even more to go by.

I'm definitely still giving the game a shot, it just worries me is all.

this is my first MMO but doesn't all MMOs look kind of bad? Anyway I got no problem with it and as people point out, this is a downloaded BETA.
