That is true, just not many people enjoy driving between vendors to find them.

I applaud you for doing that. But really driving from vendor to vendor is not a problem cause 90% are at fast travel points. But hey if someone can give you that for them, more power to you.

There are Vendors at the fast travel points, but a lot of them don't sell mods. The ones that I think do are: Aria Shandu, Top Notch, Muir Processing, Bug N' Chug, and the San Fran one. The majority of Vendors that do sell mods must be travelled to.

I fast travel and hunt for burst fire mods and have never ever seen one... Only one I have ever had was from the defiance codes... I'd buy

Well I was just informed that the drop rates on vendors are diff on PC from Xbox so I will say sorry, I did not mean to rain on your thread. I just thought that was a bit high since I have like 5 of them and find them all the time.
