    Why wouldn't they? The game has what is essentially the TPS version of ADS. It's not an unreasonable request, and shouldn't be terribly difficult to implement for Trion.

    Anyways, +1 to the OP.

    Yes this drives me bat**** crazy. It's not even helpful -- I know where the damn sniper is, that's why I'm running the other direction.

    i use autohotkey and this script u have to map aim to x and change whatever x replaced to something else or change aim to an unused key and change the scripts "x" to that unsed key lol

    *RButton::
    If !Count
    {
    Send {x Down}
    Count = 1
    }
    else
    {
    Send {x up}
    Count = 0
    }

    and you had better stop using that program

    do a forum search. at least one member has been banned for using this program. another was nearly banned for using sweetfx.

    Shocker, people dont like having to hold a mouse button whilst turning and aiming because it's just not comfortable.

    This.

    We shouldn't have to use that kind of programs or scripts! It's just a simple thing, present in all shooters, implement it please !

    okay i know i've been out of the loop for.... a while... on pc shooters, as the last one i played was bf:vietnam... but "toggle aim" ? really? i thought people wanting to make diablo 3 macro scripts/bots legal were lazy, but... wow..... why are you even trying to do a full turn while aiming? let go of button, turn 10x faster, aim again... its part of that thing people used to have, called skill... now all i hear is 'auto aim" and "toggle aim" and "make it so i move as fast aiming as i do sprinting and hip firing"...

    all you people really want to do is watch a movie, and have no input whatsoever on the outcome... and you ***** about it when you're told "no, you actually need to play in order to see the ending".

    in short: learn what it means to play a game, vs watching a computer do all the real work.

    I just use the macro function built into my mouse or my keyboard to make aim mode toggle
    "This is for all you new people: I only have one rule. Everyone fights. No one quits. You don't do your job, I'll shoot you myself. You get me?"

    i agree with the OP, its about comfort. i scope in for the majority of my shots and for extended gameplay experience it can really strain my fingers! Did bf:vietnam really not have toggle aim? because from what i remember every other bf game since (bf2/2142/bc2/bf3/heroes/f2p) has.

    Also i would love it if the aim moved as fast while scoping as it does unscoped, for reasons of consistency. This is actually my biggest gripe about the gameplay.

    Pc users have been spoilt with wonderful control options in the past i hope at some point the devs add more features.

    Playing with your index finger on the LMB, middle finger on the middle mouse button and ring finger on the RMB should eliminate that strain.

    Also, where has all this love for toggle aim come from?

    hold crouch hold aim!

    spider hands unite!
